Blaine stumbled through his bedroom door tiredly and making his way into the kitchen where Melissa was perched on one of his chairs, looking at her phone as she ate a piece of toast. She looked up and turned off her phone when she heard him turn the kettle on."Morning sunshine." She grinned.
Blaine grunted in reply, pouring the hot water into his coffee cup and turning to settle into a chair opposite the girl.
"Someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed?" She cooed.
"Shut up." Blaine murmured, taking a sip of his coffee.
"You excited for your date today?"
"It's not a date."
"Oh right, I'm sorry. It's just a gathering of two people who are oblivious to the fact that they're both hopelessly in love with the other."
Blaine looked up to glare at her, "I hate you."
2 hours later there was a knock on Blaine's door and the man immediately leaped off of his bed and ran towards his front door, freezing when he saw Melissa open the door instead.
"Umm, hi." Blaine heard Kurt say.
"Hi! I'm Melissa, Blaine's roomie."
There was a brief pause before Kurt answered, "I'm Kurt."
"Oh, yes. Kurt Hummel. I know all about you. How could I not? You sound amazing, and I have to say with how Blainey described your looks.." She trailed off as she looked him up and down, whistling loudly.
Kurt laughed awkwardly, "Uh, Blaine talks about me a lot?"
Melissa groaned, "All the time. He never shuts up about you. It's actually pretty annoying. But cute at the same time because he always gets this little happy smile on his face that practically sings 'I'm madly in love with Kurt Hummel!'"
Blaine's eyes widened and he ran forward to grab Melissa around the waist and pull her back.
"That's enough of that." Blaine chuckled awkwardly.
"Aw look; Blainey's blushing."
"Shut up." Blaine whined, pushing Melissa before turning to face Kurt, a wide grin set on his face, "Hi!"
"Hi." Kurt giggled.
"I'll just leave you two lovebirds to it." Melissa raised an eyebrow and winked obviously at Blaine before turning to look at Kurt, "It was nice to meet you. Take care of my boy."
Blaine's mouth fell open as he watched her leave.
"Uh, I'm sorry about her." Blaine laughed awkwardly.
"It's fine." Kurt smiled.
"Come in."
Kurt grinned, walking in through the door and closing it behind himself, following Blaine through to the living room, "I'm sorry if I came too early. I just didn't have much else to do."
"It's fine. I'm happy you came earlier."
Kurt opened and closed his mouth a couple times before looking down at his lap, smiling.
"What do you want to do, then? We could watch a movie? Or we could- are you hungry? We could have something to eat?"
"I don't mind, Blaine." Kurt laughed, "I'm not that hungry."
"Oh, okay. Do you want to watch a movie then?"
"Sure!" Blaine grinned, jumping to his feet and pulling Kurt up and towards a bookshelf full of dvds, "Choose."
Kurt raised an eyebrow, looking through the movies before glancing up at Blaine who was watching him. Blaine blushed and quickly averted his gaze to look at the dvds.
"Can we watch Tangled?"
Blaine laughed, "Sure. I haven't seen this in ages."
"I haven't either."
"I'm glad to see I'm not the only grown man who still likes Disney."
"What? Are you kidding? I love Disney! You're never too old for Disney."
"That's what I tell everyone but no one seems to agree." Blaine sighed.
"Well, now you've got me to watch Disney with you." Kurt nudged his shoulder before handing Blaine the movie.
Blaine smiled as Kurt walked back to collapse into the sofa. Blaine inserted the disc before moving back to sit next to Kurt.
30 minutes into the movie and Blaine had no idea what was happening. He'd been watching Kurt instead.
Kurt suddenly turned to look at Blaine, his eyes widening when he found the man already watching him.
And then Blaine licked his lips and leaned up to press his lips into Kurt's. Kurt froze beneath him for a second before smiling and kissing back. Blaine raised both of his hand to cup Kurt's face while Kurt simply rested his hand on Blaine's legs. They were both smiling so it wasn't much of kiss. Their teeth kept hitting each other's and their lips were basically squashed against each other but it was still amazing.
Eventually they began laughing and were forced to pull apart but Blaine didn't release his hold on Kurt's face, he just held Kurt's face in his hands as he smiled down at the man who was looking up at him.
Kurt leaned up to press a brief kiss to Blaine's lips, which Blaine returned.
Kurt turned around to face the movie, scooting closer to Blaine and resting his head on the man's shoulder, sighing happily when Blaine looped an arm around his waist and rested his head on top of Kurt's.
They stayed like that until the movie finished but by then they had both fallen asleep, curled up in each other's arms as the opening music to Tangled played over and over.
You'll never guess what movie I was watching while writing this...
