We Dated...

"Its just not fair. He was meant to be with me. He was mine. He was for me. Just. Me."

Kurt squeezed his eyes shut, pinching his nose in an attempt not to scream.

"And then she came along. And now we'll never be together. I mean, we're clearly soulmates but-"

"Shut up, shut up, shut up!" Kurt shrieked, "You're giving me a headache! You have no chance with him!"

"Why? Because he's famous and I'm never going to meet him? Well, Kurt, in case you've forgotten I am actually going to meet him. In 2 weeks, to be precise."

"I know, you haven't stopped talking about it for more than 2 hours every single day."

"Well, then why is it? Because I do stand a chance. I've loved him longer than anyone else and-"

"He's gay, Kate!" Kurt yelled, before slapping both of his hands over his mouth and staring wide eyed at his friend.

"He's not gay!" Kate gaped at him, "He has a girlfriend. Even if he's meant to be with me."

"How do you know he's gay?" The brunette beside her frowned at Kurt, ignoring Kate's comment.

"Uh- just a guess?"

"Hang on." She narrowed her eyes, "You're- you're lying. I know that look anywhere. There's something else going on- oh my god! Are you in love with him too?"

"What?" Kurt shrieked, "No! Anna, no, no, no, no, no. Why would I love him?"

"Yeah, Kurt's always hated Blaine. I don't know why."

"Exactly." Anna nodded before turning to Kurt, "That's your plan, isn't it? To make everyone believe you hate him, when in reality; you're obsessed with him."

"Uh, no. Y'know what? I'll just tell you." Kurt sighed, "Basically, we went to high school together."

"Holy shit!" Kate screamed, "No way! You did not go to school with Blaine freaking Anderson!"

"I did." Kurt nodded sadly.

"How'd you know him?" Anna tilted her head, she could tell there was something Kurt wasn't telling them.

"I- we were just friends."

"No you weren't." Kate gaped, "You were friends with Blaine Anderson? This isn't fair!"

"No, he wasn't." Anna shook her head, "You guys dated, didn't you?"

"No he- wait. Did you?"

But Kurt was staring at Anna with his mouth wide open, "How did you-" Kurt cleared his throat and shook his head, "-No. I didn't date him."

"Yes you did. You so did."

"No I didn't."

"You did! You hesitated! I heard you-"

"Okay, fine. I think I did."

"You think you did?"

"Well, yeah. I can't actually remember. But people told me we did."

"You can't remember dating Blaine Anderson?" Kate narrowed her eyes, "What the hell?"

"I-I was involved in an accident and I- well, I lost some of my memory. I couldn't remember dating him but he- he told me we dated for a while."

"Oh my god! Is this why you don't wanna come with me to the meet-and-greet?" Kate flailed excitedly, "Now you have to come! It can be your awesome reunion!"

"He has a girlfriend." Kurt groaned before standing up, grabbing his coat and walking out of the door.

"Did he just-"

"Yes. He just left my house mid-conversation."
