The Girl Who Was Transported Where..?

Chapter 16

"-in. Rin, wake up."

My eyes flew open. It was still dark out.

"What time is it?" I asked still sleepy.

"It's 3 o'clock." Sasuke said as he was propped up on his forearm.

"Why would you wake me up so early?" I snapped.

"You.." Sasuke looked away. "I think you were having a nightmare.."

My eyes widened. He wanted to help me.. this duck-butt does have feelings. Plus, I think he's embarrassed!

"Oh.. I'm sorry for snapping at you.." I said as I turned to lay on my back.

"Hn."

"Well, if you don't mind, I'm going back to bed I said laying on side so I would be facing Sasuke. I looked at him, and he took a deep breath.

"If you have another nightmare, just let me know.. I'll.. I'll be here for you." Sasuke whispered.

I smiled softly before closing eyes and falling asleep, almost feeling Sasuke's breath on my face.

[Sasuke POV]
I want to hold her in my arms so bad.. but I know Rin doesn't think of me that way. Why am I acting so un-uchiha-like? Am I supposed to be acting like this? If only Mom and Dad were still here.. they could help me. It's all Itachi's fault!

"Sasuke, your hogging the blanket." Rin mumbled trying to grab the blanket out of my grasp. I must've grabbed it when I was thinking.

"Sasuke, give me some of the blanket! I'm cold, ya know!" Rin said, but my hand wouldn't budge. I don't know why.. what is with me?

[third person POV]
Rin sat up with her elbow propping her up, and she tried to grab the blanket away from Sasuke.

"Sasuke, give me some of the blanket! I'm cold." Rin said tugging on it. "What's with you?"

As fast as lightning, Sasuke wrapped his arms around Rin, making her gasp.

"Sasuke..?" Rin said. Her head was up against his chest, so she could hear his heart beating. His heart was beating fast.

"Just.. let me, please." He said softly.

Rin looked up at him as Sasuke's arms were around her tightly. Almost protectively.

Rin closed her eyes, and she drifted back to sleep a couple seconds after.

[Rin POV]

"Rin, wake up. Come on."

"Hmm... five more minutes!" I groaned.

"Didn't you want me to wake you up so you can shower?" Sasuke asked.

"Fiinnnee!" I sighed.

I sat up, and I had a feeling that my hair was 10 times messier than it was when I woke up in the middle of the night.

"I'm tired.." I said as I walked into the bathroom to get in the shower.

I turned on the water and jumped in once the water temperature was to my liking. I suddenly got cold. I forgot that I hate taking showers in the morning.. I'm an idiot..
