"Melis! Can you come here?" I heard Joey's voice from his room. "But I'm so comfortable!" I whined back from the couch. "It's really important!" his voice got a little impatient. I wonder what he wanted?

I got up from my spot and trudged into his room. He had a huge grin on his face. My posture went up a little at the sight of his seemingly really excited face. "What is it?" I asked. "So you remember how I was talking about going on tour for my new webseries right?" My mouth dropped open. "NO WAY!" I shouted, my face matching his. "YES WAY!" he shouted back, jumping up from his bed and giving me a huge hug.

My mood slowed down after a moment and I grew sad, "But wait, this means you'll be away for a week and a half." I crossed my arms over my chest in disappointment, but his expression remained the same. I looked at him with a confused face.

"That's my second surprise." He smiled even bigger. I almost fainted, "Shut up. No way." "YOU'RE COMING WITH ME!" At this, I jumped onto Joey, wrapping my legs around his back and my arms around his neck. "I'M SO EXCITED!" I yelled, making sure to not scream into his ear. He laughed at my reaction, then kissed my cheek.

He set me down on our bed and leaned down, kissing me. I smiled at him and he smiled back. "So where are we going?" I asked, breaking the silence. He got out his laptop and showed me the small list of cities, all of which I had never been to. "I've always wanted to go to Chicago!" I said excitedly when I saw the name.

We sat and chatted about the details, what we'd bring, what the shows would be like. The conversation carried on all the way til it was time for bed. We climbed under the covers and turned the light off, whispering now, until we both fell asleep.
