No, I don't get out of my house much thanks for asking. I'm always in my apartment, but of course forced to leave for college. But nothing more, nothing less.

One day, I decided to go to the beach, just out of curiosity and for fun. I threw on my blue and white Hollister bikini with some shorts and an unzipped sweatshirt on over. I tossed a towel, sunscreen, drinks, and my phone into a bag and slipped on my flip flops and put on some sunglasses.

I was happy to get out of the house honestly. It's been about a month since I've done this kind of stuff.

Once I arrived at the beach, I laid out all of my stuff and took off my shorts and my sweatshirt. After laying in the sun for a good amount of time, I decided it was time to take a little swim and cool down. I waded into the water and instantly regretted it. The cold, salty water made my skin chilled. No matter the freezing feeling, I continued on into the water.

It felt wonderful once my body adapted to the lower temperatures. I guess I was enjoying myself just a little too much, because I had waded out way too far for my liking, and couldn't touch the sandy ocean floor.

Panic immediately consumed my happy mind and I couldn't do anything. My body just stopped functioning. Water filled my mouth, flowing down my throat. I coughed and jacked up the water as best as I could, yelling for help.

"H-help! Someone!" I yelled trying to make it back to the shore.
"Plea-" I was cut short of my words when suddenly a wave came crashing down on me. I could hardly breathe, but every part of me was panicked. I thought I would've died right here, in this ocean.

"I'm here! It's okay!" I heard a male voice shout out. I felt as if I was barely alive. He pulled me onto his back and swam ashore. I could tell he was as running by the bounces I felt my body do as each of his feet landed on the ground.

He laid me down on a medical table and pumped at my chest for an attempt to get the water out of my lungs. I could tell what was going on, but at the same time I couldn't.

One sudden, harsh, push on my chest jolted me up, and made me emit the salty water from my lungs. My breathing was hard and tears were coming from my eyes.

"Are you okay?" The man asked.

"I-I think." I said quietly. I was still in a state of shock at what happened and I felt quite embarrassed.

The man looked to be about 25-ish. He had soft-looking, light brown hair, and a very light scruff covering his lower face. Very attractive honestly.

"What's your name?" He asked me.
"Uh, I'm Y/N." I said with a slight smile.

He smiled back and I could see he had a few crooked teeth. It was honestly adorable. "I'm Tyler. I know this is an awkward way to meet, and trust me, don't feel embarrassed at all, Y/N. This happens a lot, but usually not with someone I choose to talk to."

"Okay, thanks Tyler. It's nice to meet you even in this situation."

He threw a big beach towel on my back and over my shoulders. I wrapped it around myself and he continued with his medical stuff. He checked my heartbeat, gave me water and crackers, checked my blood pressure, and then let me rest in the room till I felt like my normal self.

Throughout this hour and a half, he stayed with me and talked to me to make sure I was okay. I gratefully thanked him and asked if there was anything I could do in return.

"There's one thing you could do." He said with a smile. I was hoping it wasn't something like "suck my dick" or "take off all of your clothes". Thankfully, that wasn't the case.

"Can I get your number, Y/N?"
"Of course! Hand me your phone, I'll put my number in."

He handed me his phone and I made a contact for myself. I gave him back his phone with a smile.

Tyler walked me out to where my beach towel was laying and helped me
pack up my stuff.

"Thank you so much." I said.
"No problem, its my job." He said. "Oh, and I'll make sure to text you, Y/N." He said with a wink.

I guess me almost drowning was definitely worth it.
