Foxy ( Naruto X Sasuke )

Know Your Enemy

Sasuke sat in his new desk and sighed. 'How am I supposed to get work done when he's gonna be sitting right in front of me?' The Uchiha then started sorting through the new stack of papers he was given.

"This doesn't look so hard..." He told himself. "Tsunade did say I should start as soon as possible so I might as well try and finish this now." Sasuke picked up a pen that was on his desk and began filling everything out. 'I can pass by and get my things tomorrow-'

"Huh, a new tryhard." Sasuke looked up to see a man with short black hair and pale skin.

"Cut it Sai."

'Naruto is back already?' He seemed to have appeared out of nowhere.

"Hey blondie... Just let me have my fun with the new guy." Sai pressed as he shrugged.

"This one's off limits." Naruto almost growled back. The blonde was standing behind his own desk, gripping the edge of the chair tightly.

"Naruto..." Sasuke looked at both of the males who seemed to have quarrel.

"It's a new year... Lets see if you can remain on top..." Sai eyed the name plate on Sasuke's desk. "Uchiha Sasuke... I'll be talking to you again soon." He then flashed Naruto a sweet smile before walking off with a faint smirk.

"Oi Naruto who-"

There was a loud snap and part of a pencil hit the floor.

"That ghost-looking jerk..." The stronger male grinded his teeth together.

"..." Sasuke furrowed his brows slightly.

"Hey Sasuke..." Naruto had his head hung down and was twitching in anger- or was it disgust? "If he ever does anything to you... Tell me... I'll take care of him."

"Okay..." He replied hesitantly. Sasuke then looked back to see the man chatting it up with a platinum blonde haired girl. 'Sai huh?'

"I'm glad I forgot this." Sasuke trained his onyx eyes back on Naruto to see him reaching for another document. "I had just turned the corner and then realized I forgot the survey I was working on." He scratched his head. "Well I'll be going for real this time so cya."

"Yeah, cya." Sasuke gave a small nod and watched Naruto turn the corner again. 'That was some bad blood I saw there...' The raven then fixed his attention back to the paperwork in front of him. 'I should get back to work. It's not really my business anyway.'

Naruto paced down the hall in an irritated fashion.

'Man that guy really pisses me off!' He tisked to himself while clenching his jaw.

"Yo Naruto."

The blonde turned his head back to see Shikamaru, one of the coworkers he enjoyed spending time with.

"Hey, I'm just gonna leave my report with Gaara." Shikamaru then sped up to continue walking forward with Naruto.

"Gaara, huh?" Shikamaru moved the toothpick he was chewing to the other side of his mouth. "Amazing that he was transferred into the Project Coordinator position."
