At a wedding with someone: perfectly normal
At wedding with friend: betting when they will divorce. Praying they throw cake at each other.

Eating food with Someone: just talking
Eating food with Friend: laughing hysterically. Stealing food off each other's plate. Burping very loudly. Slamming stuff onto table. Almost starts food fight. Gets kicked out of restaurant.

In class with someone: meh
In class with friend: passing notes. Giggling. Contemplating how to annoy teacher.

Sees someone after long time: oh, hey! I remember you!
Sees friend after long time: pretends not to know who they are, or all together avoids contact.

Someone is coming over: Must clean room................
Friend is coming over: meh. Messy room is messy.
Someone had come over; it's been five minutes: BYE! LEAVE!

Sleepover at someone's house: all is well; we're sleeping
Sleepover at friends house: even if you want to sleep, you can't, because your friend will ruin your face. Your having pillow fights. Your gorging on chocolate. Your high on sugar. You both ruin the face of anyone who is sleeping
