"You not making sense Lauren." I sit down on my bed

"Ohk but I can't just end things with him, but I don't want to let what we have go."

Man Im not up for playing second place to nobody. She sits on the other side of the bed from me.

"I don't know what to do August. That's what I'm saying. Jimere will kill us both if he found out."

"Baby girl look when it comes to Jimere will cross that bridge..."

"Yea but he could possibly be getting out soon August!"

I stand in front of her and place my hands on her shoulders

"And when it happen we'll address it then baby. Come on lets just enjoy us right now stop thinking about the past."

"He wants me to go to his bond hearing tomorrow."

This nigga don't know how to stay the fuck away, I think to myself.
"Alright cool. I can drop you if you want."

"Thanks but no thanks I don't want you waiting for me, the process could be long. I think I'm gonna run to my place. I need to clear my head and in a few hours we can link back up and do something with Aj."

She gives me a kiss and says bye to Jr

"What's on our agenda for the day little man.."

"I don't know dad but I'm hungry!"
I pick him up and put him over my shoulder then begin to tickle him.

"Stop daddy!" He says thru his laughter

"You hungry what you want."

"IHOP"
I toss him on the bed

"Cool man let's be out. Wanna go see what your uncle up to?"

"Uncle Ant Uncle Ant.. "
He begins to chant. Ant walks out his room

"Thought I heard big mans voice out here."
He grabs Aj and swings him around

"Weee. Unc you wanna come to IHOP with us?"

"Hell yea, you know Unc always down to eat."

I laugh
"Nigga spoke some truth just then."

Ant puts Aj down
"Ha, you funny bro. Lemme throw sum on."

"What can I get for you guys."
This fine as waitress walks up to our table

"Can I get a pancake meal." Aj ask
She smiles at him

"Sure can and what would you like to drink?"

"Apple Juice" He says with way to much excitement. Me and Ant laugh him then order our food.

"Okay it'll be about twenty minute wait."

"Iight. What's been up with you and Lauren bro?"

"So listen we need to find out how this nigga got and appeal and bond hearing."

"Who Jimere?"

"Yes nigga, Lauren is going to his bond hearing tomorrow."

"Damn." He put his hands over face

"Alright so we need to figure out our next move. Now that he about to be back out on the streets it's only a matter of time before he figures it was us who set him up."

The girl comes out with our food and drinks.

"Yea we gotta move right, we can't have Lauren or London finding out about us working for him."
