"Hey, Morg," Aladdin said as they walked. "You, Ra, and Mi are all going to Balbadd to get to a ship to your homeland, right?"
"Yes, that's right," Morgiana replied. "Really, it's just my homeland, but Rashil and Mikha seem instant on joining me in my quest."
Rashil grinned. "You bet we are!"
"Wouldn't miss it for the world," Mikha added softly.
Morgiana smiled at them. "But, anyway, Aladdin, there's something I've been meaning to tell you. You see, I want to thank you and Alibaba."
Rashil rolled her eyes. "Oh, brother."
"Thank us?" Aladdin asked, turning to Morgiana.
Morgiana smiled. "I'm grateful you have given me a future of true freedom. I'm forever in your debt."
Rashil shook her head. "Don't let her do it, Aladdin! Don't fall victim to her--!"
It was too late. "Thank you, Aladdin," Morgiana had said, right before bowing, face to the dirt.
Aladdin flailed his arms in protest. "No, it's okay, Morg! And, if I know my friend, Alibaba, he'd feel the same way I do!" Morgiana looked up. "So, there's no need to thank us. 'Cause Alibaba's just that kind of guy, you know?" Aladdin said with a wide, toothy grin.
Morgiana smiled.
"Alibaba sounds like a great person, the way you describe him, Aladdin," Mikha said, patting his head.
Rashil shrugged. "Whatever. Talk is talk. He's still got unicorn hair."
Aladdin sighed contentedly. "Boy, it sure has been way too long. I can't wait to see him again!"
Morgiana stood back up. "Yeah. We'll be able to," she pointed. "If we follow this road."
Rashil quirked an eyebrow. "What are you, a map?"
Mikha chuckled. "Morgiana always has been good with directions."
Rashil snorted and then burst out laughing. "Anyone's better than mom, though!"
Mikha joined her. "Good point!"
You see, Mikha and Rashil's mom had a particularly bad sense of direction. If she had a fifty-fifty chance of choose the right path, it was a ninety-five percent chance that she'd choose the wrong one.
"Well then," Aladdin said, turning on his heel. "let's get going!" He imagined Alibaba in front of him. His smiling face, arms wide open for a hug, but.... The image QUICKLY faded when he realized that Alibaba wasn't there, but a completely naked man with nothing but a leaf covering his privates.
"Oh, hello," said the naked, purple-haired man. "Real nice weather we're having today, huh?"
Everyone's face contorted into fear except Rashil's. Hers just contorted into 'what the hell'.
"AHHH!" Aladdin screamed. He thrust his hand in front of Morgiana protectively. "Don't look ladies, and stay back!"
"Believe me," Mikha whimpered, covering her now scarred eyes. "Looking is the LAST THING I want to do."
"Don't worry," Morgiana began, putting herself into a fighting stance. "Just leave everything to us."
"Be careful!" Aladdin warned. "He may be some kind of monster!"
"Understood."
The naked man was about to protest, but was interrupted by Rashil sighing. "Guys, it's okay," she said, walking forward.
