"What is that?" Rashil asked. "It looks like it's carrying a small army!"

Everyone's jaw dropped as they looked up at the giant flying carpet in the sky.

Mikha shook her head and looked towards the woman who had spoken before. "It's the Eighth Imperial Princess of the Kou Empire, Kougyoku Ren."

Rashil shrugged. "Okay, but what's with the magic floaty carpet?"

The Imperial princess had pink eyes, and long, dark pink hair held up with a gold hair pin. She had an extravagant dress as if flaunting her royalty and status.

Rashil grit her teeth. "Flashy, isn't she?"

Mikha reached out for her sister's hand. "She is royalty."

Rashil took Mikha's hand and wrapped her other hand around Xander's middle, pulling him close.

"Well," Kougyoku said. "It appears they've been having a field day by punishing our sweet Judal."

Rashil quirked an eyebrow. "What are you, woman? In love with him?"

Mikha covered her younger sister's mouth with her free hand. "Shut it! You can't speak like that to royalty!"

Rashil shoved the hand away. "I speak that way to Sin all the time!"

"We know Sin! This Kougyoku is a whole other breed." Mikha glanced at the pink-haired girl. "You're lucky she didn't hear you."

Rashil groaned. "She can't be but a year older than me, what right would she have to punish me for freedom of speech?"

Xander nuzzled her hair. "Royalty is foolish, Mistress. They believe they can do whatever they please."

"We just managed to save him in the nick of time, didn't we?" the man next to Kougyoku said. It could only be assumed he was her attendant.

"What?" Rashil said. "How'd they even get him up there?"

"But he's seriously injured," the pink-haired princess said. Kougyoku gave a sidelong look to her attendant who was carrying Judal in his arms. "Listen here, Ka Kobun, you better make sure you'll be able to heal him. If he died it'd be a disaster."

Ka Kobun nodded. "Yes, your highness, I'm quite aware of that. This is a man of value, you see. He is our priest, after all."

Rashil huffed. "It'd be a blessing if he died."

Mikha shushed her.

"Unbelievable!" Jafar said, stomping his foot on the ground.

"I know," Sinbad said. "Those people are from the Kou Empire!"

Aladdin looked terrified. "The... Kou Empire?" He felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked up and saw Mikha.

She smiled at him. "Don't worry, Aladdin. It'll all be okay."

Aladdin nuzzled his cheek into her hand. 'She's so...' he thought. 'Warm.'

Mikha turned to Rashil with a serious look. "Do you see those major magical tools they're using?"

Rashil nodded. "Exactly what kind of people are they? I can understand coming for their Magi, and maybe giving a warning, but why are they sticking around?"

Mikha furrowed her eyebrows. "I don't know."

Ugo's fists glowed purple.

Kougyoku looked down at him. "Hm? Ugh, does that monster still want to fight?" She smiled. "Sounds like fun! All right, I'll be happy to take you on."
