Chapter 7
Jared's POV
She's so beautiful. I know, it sounds clichéd but she is! I wonder what horse she'll be riding.
"Hey, Jared," Mandy calls. I stop and turn around. "Could you show Melanie the stables and a horse for her?"
"Sure, Mandy." I call, "Come on, Melanie. The stables are this way!" I wait for her while she walks to me. Damn, she's beautiful.
"I'll put Rocky back, then we'll have a look at the horses." I say. We reach Rocky's stall, I let go of the reins and before I could, Melanie undoes the cinch and takes the saddle off Rocky's back.
"Thanks," I say with a smile, "do you ride western or english?"
"Both but I'm more advanced in english." she says, putting the saddle on a rack.
"Cool, I've ridden english a few times but I prefer western." I tell her. She smiles, way more beautiful when she smiles.
I lead Rocky into his stall and unbridled him.
"Now we can look for a horse for you." I say to her. "Are you riding english or western today?"
"English" she tells me.
I start saying something to her when I notice she's not paying attention. She's looking at a horse that came in a few days ago. No one has been able to touch her, let alone get near her, but I see something special being exchanged between the two of them.
