Chapter 12
Melanie's POV
After saying goodbye to Jared and Lightning, I go home. When I get there, dinner is ready.
"How was today, love?" Mum asks.
"It was good. And mum?" I reply.
"Yes?"
"Mandy said I could buy Lightning because I am the only one that can get close to her. Could I?"
"Possibly." I run up and hug her tight.
"Thank you!"

After dinner I go to my room to dust my breyers. It's a big job since I have over a hundred and fifty. My favourite model is a customised Totilas from one of my friends in Europe. He is a BEAUTIFUL dapple grey with socks and a stripe. I absolutely adore him! It takes me about an hour and a half to dust them all.
Once I am done I get into my pyjamas and climb into my bed. Falling asleep, I think about what would happen if I bought Lightning, and if Jared likes me back.
