Jared's POV
"Maybe you could buy her."
Wow. Melanie could buy Lightning!
"Thank you for the offer, Mandy, but I have no idea how long I'm going to be living here for. If I did buy her then had to move and I couldn't take her what would happen to her? I couldn't do that, but I will keep riding here as long as I'm living here." Melanie replyed. She could move? I know this sounds crazy, but I think I'm falling for her. I wish I could do something to stop her from leaving.
Calm down, she's not leaving yet.
"If you change your mind, Melanie, let me know. She will always be here for you." Mandy says and walks away, snapping me out of my own thoughts.
"Do you think I should buy her, Jared? If my parents said yes?" Melanie asks me.
"I think you should. You already have such a great bond and she seems to have good schooling." I reply.
"I want to, I just don't want to have to sell her if I move, not that I would want to." She tells me.
She doesn't want to move? Then why would she? Would I have a chance with her if she stayed?
A/N: I'm sorry it's a REALLY short chapter, I have next to no idea what to write! I am in my school holidays and have quite a bit of free time, apart from riding, but I just don't get around to writing more of Lightning. If you want me to continue this story, please comment! If I don't get many/any I might not finish this.
