The rain tapped gently against the window, waking me up with each drop. I looked at the clock on the bedside table to see what time it was — 10:34am.

Pushing the blankets off of me, I blew a strand on hair out of my eyes and placed my feet on the cold ground.

Walking out into the kitchen, it was silent. No one was in sight, and an idea came to mind. I was going to surprise everyone with some breakfast in bed.

I opened the refrigerator and looked at what was inside. Bacon and eggs sounded good. Grabbing what I needed, I turned on the frypan and poured oil into the pan, sizzling.

It didn't take very long, and in no time, I had four plates of breakfast set out nicely on large plates. I decided to take Jenna and Tyler's theirs first. Balancing two of the plates on my hands, I walked down to their room and pushed the door open gently with my foot. I watched as Tyler woke almost immediately, obviously not being in a very deep sleep. He smiled tiredly in my direction, before tapping Jenna on the shoulder softly. She stirred and sat up.

"I made you guys breakfast." I said quietly.

Jenna chuckled softly. "You didn't have to."

"I wanted to."

I gave the two their breakfast and went to fetch Josh and I's. I made sure to grab a glass of water for Josh to have his medication with, which was incredibly difficult to balance.

The door to the room he was in was already slightly open, making it easier for me to open the door.

"Josh." I called softly. He blinked his eyes a few times and used his arms to prop himself up.

"What's this?" He asked with a laugh.

"Breakfast," I smiled sheepishly. "In bed."

Josh shook his head. "Thank you."

I nodded. "And water for you to have with your medication."

Josh chuckled, patting the bed. "Come, eat."

I sat down and began to eat the breakfast I had prepared. It was surprisingly good.

"So, plans for today?"

We were all sitting in the living room, and Tyler had started the conversation. I was a lot more comfortable around him now thankfully.

"I'm planning on taking Aria to that appointment at the psychologists so all of that stuff can be sorted out by the time we leave for tour." Josh said, looking over to me.

I nodded, remembering the conversation we had had earlier that morning. Josh was going to get me assessed to see if I needed any medication while we're on tour.

"And then we can all go shopping for other stuff we might need? Clothes, chargers, that stuff?" Jenna asked.

Josh nodded.

"What time is my appointment?" I asked.

"3:40. So we could probably do some shopping before then."

"It's 12:30 now. If we leave now we should be able to get it done, then maybe we could burn some more time and go out for dinner?" Tyler asked.

"Sounds good."

Shopping centres were always anxiety inducing, but even more so when you have people screaming at you left and right.

"Oh my god! Oh my god! Are you Josh Dun?!"

We were in the shopping centre, minding our own business when two teenage girls came running up to us — well, to Josh — and asked a million questions at once.

Josh sent me a look that could've said two completely different things simultaneously. 'Help me,' or 'you'll be okay.'

I seemed to think it was the latter, as Josh seemed comfortable with taking a few pictures and signing one of the girl's phone cases.

While Josh was distracted, one turned to me. "Who are you?" She asked.

I froze. I didn't know what to say in that moment, I looked to Josh desperately.

"She's Jenna's cousin." Josh said almost immediately.

I guess that could pass. I had the pale blue eyes, and the blonde hair to match.

The girl nodded before smiling in my direction and waving, being dragged away by the other girl.

"You alright?" Josh asked.

I nodded.

"I didn't know it was going to be so overwhelming, I'm sorry." He looked down guiltily, scratching his neck.

"No it's okay," I said quickly. "I just didn't know if you wanted to release any information yet."

"This reminds me of something I need to get you."

"What?"

"A phone."

"No."

"Aria, I'm getting you a phone for two reasons. One reason being the fact that I want to get you one — I mean what thirteen year old girl doesn't have a phone nowadays? And two, because you need one for your own protection."

Josh's tone was firm but worried. It seemed that that was a slap in the face for him — and for me. When people found out the truth, questions would be asked. And there was always a few crazy fans that would go over the top — the ones that Tyler ends up having to yell at or kick out of some concerts every once in a while.

"Come on, I think Jenna's getting your clothes. We'll go get your phone, and then figure out what we're doing after that. Then it's off to your appointment."

Holding onto any expensive object was scary for me. It seemed foreign, unreal, — and what made it seem even more unrealistic was that it had my name all over it. Not literally, of course. No, I had the choice to pick everything out from the phone colour to the case, I even had the choice to chose what phone plan I got with it.. It was strange — the bag was wrapped around my hand as we were walking out, and the phone now would read Aria. Aria's phone.

Aria.

That's my name.

I find myself having to remember that sometimes, after being called a brat for so long, I can forget to remember my own name.

So when it was printed on that receipt, it seemed to sink in.

And even though it was simply a device that would allow me to call and text, play some music, and a few games, all I could say the rest of the day while staring at it was two words.

"Thank you."
