Turns out,everything went straight to Tartarus after I sprinted to the barrier of Camp Half-Blood. I slid through and ran to the top of Half-Blood Hill and I found Nico. How to explain Nico to you. Well,he is a Son of Hades or Pluto,for you Romans.

That's pretty amazing,in my opinion,his powers I mean. He's my idol,besides my amazing parents. He started to walk toward me to greet me but then something happened to him. He fell to his knees and put a hand to his forehead. He was sweating and he looked like he was really in pain. I ran to him and put my arm around him. He was still in a trance. I was speechless. I couldn't go to my house because I couldn't leave him. I'm usually am not emotional but I started to cry. I don't know long I was there. I just kept hugging him and praying to the gods that they would help in any way they could. But then it stopped as quickly as it started. He opened his eyes and looked up at me weakly.
"K.C. We need to tell Percy-" He shivered and fell back into my arms. I helped him to his feet. When we got back to the house,my mom and dad helped Nico to the couch and Annabeth got him a cold towel for his head.Nicoexplained to us what he saw in his uh...vision I guess. He recalled being in a dark place that looked strangely like Tartarus.He heard a shrill shadow like voice speaking to him.It said he knew who he was and the voice explained that he was going to destroy the demigods and their so-called gods. It told him they had 14 days to stop it,if they could. It showed Nico New York,and said that it was when Annabeth,Percy and the others had battled Kronos,the lord of time. It turned out when Luke "killed" Kronos and himself,Kronos wasn't fully destroyed. He separated himself into 10 pieces to avenge him but the other 9 hadn't made it because of the traitorous environment of Tartarus. The piece called himself Manasseh. He was the lord or forgetfulness and he was and going to destroy the philosophy of the Greek,Roman, Egyptian, and Norse societies. Then Manasseh showed Nico the Empire State Building. This building has a 600 floor and on that floor is Mount Olympus. All the gods were there and they were arguing and fighting with each other. Even Poseidon and Athena were affected and that made all of us sad. Nico finished up and looked up at Percy with doubt. Nico stood. He was still shaky but he made it to the door and walked out the house.

Percy and Annabeth were silent for quite a while.They kept looking up. Finally,I couldn't take the silence anymore. I stood and threw my hands up.

"What are we going to do? We have to do something. 14 days to figure this out. What do you purpose? How did Mana-" I stopped. Both of them had plenty of stories where saying the name of a powerful being could be dangerous. They had a look that said don't.

"I mean-You Know-Who." Percy looked at me. Then he said,

"K.C. that's great. But this-" He sighed. "Well we can't let you do this-"

It was obvious Annabeth had talked some sense into him when I was gone.I didn't hear the rest of what he said.I didn't need to hear.

I was hurt that they didn't think I could do this.They didn't believe in me.

Tears stung my eyes and a lump formed in my throat but I said,

"I had enough spirits and other stuff for one day. I'm going to bed." I could barely make it out. I raced up to my room before they could speak or notice that I was about to lose it.Wow.Deja vu ish. I fell onto my bed and turned to look out my window.

I could see Camp Half-Blood and on the hill was Thalia's tree. It was standing tall. I wish that I could be standing tall like that. With courage. But I wasn't and I'm not now,I'll tell you. I started to sob again. I took off my combat boots and slid into bed before Percy could realize what he'd done and what he had said.

I barely got any sleep that night. In my dream,I was standing in the middle of a blood bath. But the battle,wasn't any ordinary people. They were everybody I care about and love. Percy was fighting Annabeth. She was covered in cuts from the sword Percy was fighting with.Jason and Thalia were using lighting and thunder against each other. Frank was firing arrows at Hazel and Piper was getting barbecued by Festus with Leo and Calypso riding him.

Nico was fighting everybody with skeletons and hellhounds and other monsters from the Underworld. Then a darkness rose from the red ground. A familiar voice shrill shadow like spoke to me directly."Katherine Chase,this is what is going to happen whether you can avoid it or not. Cherish your loved ones while you can. Remember your deadline. You don't want it to be your deadline along with all of them as well."His laugh echoed
as I was pulled into darkness. I woke screaming and in a cold sweat. Percy and Annabeth came running from the other room and the door burst open.
