I burst through my door so fast and quick, I almost broke it. Annabeth was reading a book and Percy was washing dishes. I always like watching him wash anything. He used his powers from Poseidon to clean. I wish I could do that-wait. I'm so stupid. I totally forgot I could do that now.

"Dad! Get in here! I have news.Huge news!" Dad rushed into the living room. My yelling got Mom's attention too. She put her book down and I had both their attentions. "Well,I went to talk to Nico and he made me mad and something happened. This happened. I focused real hard on the soapy water in the sink. I had the same gut feeling down by the lake,and I pulled the water from the sink and brought it to the living room.

I moved it around the room and then onto to Percy,leaving him completely dry. I saw the stunned looks on my parents faces. Why does this feel familiar? Oh yeah. I surprised parents before. Percy kept stuttering.

"Ho-Wha-Wh-"

Annabeth couldn't even get sounds out of her mouth. She just kept moving her lips but nothing came out. Finally Percy made out,

"K.C. this is incredible! Isn't it incredible Annabeth?" She nodded slowly.

"Also something up with Nico. You see-" I told them what happened at the lake and at the Big House. Annabeth looked at me when I mentioned going to the Big House. "K.C." She said sternly. "We are supposed to be with you when you go anywhere.You can only go to the lake." There it was again. Them doubting that I can do stuff by myself.

"Mom,I'm 12 years old.I am capable to go talk to Chiron if I want to." That got her attention. Percy was making a death sign across his neck,telling me to stop before things got ugly. I stomped up the stairs and shut my door. I looked over to my window. If they didn't think I could handle myself,then they were about to be proven wrong. I got my navy backpack and shoved in some supplies.Trail mix,candy stash,drachmas and mortal money,water,blanket and a Celestial bronze knife Annabeth gave me just in case.

Then, I grabbed my blue plaid jacket and I shoved open my window. It was easy to open. I was a little bit of a drop but luckily I had some water on my beside table. I took the water and slid down the side of the house. I ran to the pegasus stables. I found Blackjack,and hopped on. If I could move water,then maybe I could communicate with horses.

Where to boss's daughter?Blackjack asked.

Camp Jupiter in San Francisco Bay, California please I answered. He spread his magnificent black wings and we soared off into the orange sun-setting sky. Little did I know that a few others were right behind me.
