*Percy POV*

Getting to sleep was a challenge of its own. I tossed and turned, worrying about the possibilities of tomorrow. And when I did get a few minutes of it, I saw more of glimpses of dreams, not a full dream. I saw red, demigods and monsters fighting, the Statue of Liberty, and a girl falling from it into the Atlantic Ocean.

There was a man who kicked her off the ledge. Dark hair, bright orange shirt.......battle armor that was crooked. No. That can't be. But it was, even thought I didn't want to believe it. I was the man. Possessed by Manasseh. And doing what he wanted, not free will. Then the possessed version looked at my dream form. His eyes pure white.

"This will happen, Perseus. And it's all your fault. Close your eyes and take it in. It's going to happen, if it's the last thing you ever do."

I woke screaming, covered in a blanket of terror. Annabeth was gone, it was just darkness. Not sure if I was truly awake, I felt around. It was a rough material. I tried to yell out, but there was a cloth tied around my mouth and wrists. No. The barrier.....no monsters or spirits can get in. But it was possible.....if they had permission to enter it in the first place. There might be a traitor in our midst, just like Luke Castellan or Chris Rodriguez. And there was nothing I could do about it. This was either a torture of dreams, more like nightmares or this was real. I was kidnapped by you all know who. But I couldn't tell. I just hoped on K.C.

*K.C. POV*

Madelyn and I fought for a while, but eventually we got bored and went to the Big House. There were two cots in one of the rooms. Madelyn took the right, leaving me with the left one. It was better than nothing. I couldn't drift off either. My red-headed friend was asleep in no time. I listened to the sound of her breathing, just thinking of what would happen tomorrow. And what had happened. Ethan, almost everyone getting possessed and how I couldn't do a single thing about it. The crazy dreams and visions. Especially the one with the Statue of Liberty. It was really weird, and I couldn't tell if it was going to happen or not. But if it was me in pain, it was gonna be real and I was going to feel it.

*Madelyn POV*

Madelyn dozed off as soon as her head hit the soft pillow. There was woods, and herself with a bow. Her keen eyesight focused on a deer, the soft caramel fur, its ears twitching at the smallest sound. She was young, about 8, her red frizzy hair flowing in the wind. There was a man there too. Dark gold hair, like the sun or fire. He looked about 17, but at the same time, it seemed to Madelyn it was her father. His eyes were blue, opposite of her mothers, that were hazel. Her mom also had fire red hair and freckles, like her.

The man also had a bow and arrow in his hand. He looked at her with stormy blue eyes, softer than Annabeth's. He put a finger over his lips, signaling to be silent. She crouched beneath a bush, eyes on the animal. He nodded. She pulled back the bow string, took a breath, and the only sound with the release. The arrow flew through the air, landing a shot around the deer's chest. Barely making any sound, it fell to the ground.

"Nice shot, Madelyn!" He chuckled, holding up his hand for a high-five.

She slapped his hand, pleased with herself.

"So, do you do this often, Daddy? I mean you being at Olympus and the sky almost all the time." She looked down, hoping for him to get the hint.

"Well.......not with my kids often but......" He saw her looking at her sneakers.

He lifted her chin. "But when I do, I make the most of it. Ever since Percy told us gods to spend more time with our children, I just haven't had a lot of time to. Having you and the others at Camp Half-Blood. And me being me, I will always make time and do the best I can."
