We all stood, giving a respectful bow to the man. He was large, and the suit he donned was ill-fitting. You could see the beads of sweat on his brow as he got closer. Behind him, were three girls. A blond, brunette and a red head. The last girl, the redhead, was gorgeous. One of the first things I noticed were their sizes. All three were fairly skinny, but the last girl had a fuller silhouette than the others, but still a tiny waist and flat stomach. I could tell because of the tight black skirt she wore that ended above her knees, exposing her long legs. They all were beautiful, but there was something about the last woman that commanded my attention.

The man took a seat at the head of the table, grunting as he settled in. We took that as our cue to sit back down. The blonde woman handed him a folder and he pulled out three separate papers. Since I was next to him, I could tell they were profile papers-the profiles of the girls. I glanced up to the red head, who looked at me and smiled as she clasped her hands together in front of her, politely waiting. The man handed a stack of papers he pulled out from the folder to the manager, who distributed one to all of us. It was a translation of a greeting.

“Hello, Super Junior. The paper your manager just handed out is a translation of what I am about to say, just in case you all do not understand,” he paused, looking as if he was tired already, “My name is Timothy Barett, and the head of the S.M. Entertainment building here in New York City. First, I would like to welcome you all and wish you a happy and eventful stay here in New York.”

“I’m sure you all are very curious about what all of you will be doing here for promotions of your new album. Well, lots of interviews, performances, appearances, concerts, some photoshoots, and even English lessons given by the interpreters. We want to further your understanding of English and America while you are here. You will be traveling out of New York at a few points, mainly for concerts like the one we have scheduled for L.A. coming up shortly. You will do some other stuff, but at the beginning of each month, your manager will have a meeting to discuss with you what schedules are for the following weeks.” I leaned back in my chair. This was so much at once that I felt almost light headed. I wondered if anyone else felt what I did. Upon glancing at the faces of some of the members, it was most likely they were too.

“As of now, you don’t have anything to do for a few days, because we really want you all to adjust to New York and take it all in and familiarize yourself with it.” He stood up and walked over stockily to stand beside the three girls.

“Now, since none of you speak English fluently, or close to fluently, we have hired translators to help you through out your stay. These three women are to accompany you when you have a schedule, and when you go out. Super Junior is a fairly large group, so we have divided all of you into three groups, and each group will have a specific translator assigned to them to help those people specifically.” He motioned towards the blonde.

“Please give a basic introduction in Korean and indicate what members are assigned to you.” She was the tallest of the three. and had very professional, principal atmosphere to her.

“Hello, my name is Megan Woods. I am 28, and the members that have been grouped with me are Siwon, Ryeowook, Heechul and Kangin.” Megan bowed and there was a simultaneous ‘hello’ from us. She smiled and stepped aside.

Mr. Barett moved to stand beside the brown haired girl, motioning for her to do the same as Megan.

“Hello everyone. My name is Grace Harper. I am 27 and I am assigned to accompany-” my heart thumped and I hoped she wouldn’t say my name. There was nothing wrong with her, but I just couldn’t help but wish the redhead was the woman who was assigned to me, “-Donghae, Yesung, Eunhyuk and Shindong.” She also bowed and I let out small sigh, looking at the redhead. She was peering at me. I didn’t I had been that noticeable, but I guess I was.
