Chapter 4: Tess Booker

Hi. I'm Tess Camille Booker, and I'll be the final narrator for this story. I'm gonna tell you about me.

I have pale pink hair, which is my natural color. My mom is a Muggle, and her hair is red, and my dad, a wizard, has white hair. I suppose that's how my hair color came to be! I have blue eyes like my dad and my skin is a bit tanner, like my mom's since she's part Italian. I also have a younger sister who is two years younger than me. Her name is Erica, and her birthday is October 10th, 1981. My mum's name is Daniella, and my dad's name is Matthew. I was born on November 14th, 1979. I'm a half-blood witch, and I'm currently going to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

When I first began Hogwarts, I was sorted into Hufflepuff, same as my dad. I only made one friend that year. It was Hermione Granger from Gryffindor. I didn't talk much because I was so shy. I mostly just worked on schoolwork. I also wrote letters to my family every night. I miss my family dearly.

I got really good grades in Herbology, Transfiguration, and History of Magic. I got decent grades in Astronomy, Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Charms. I had a lot of trouble with Charms, but Hermione Granger helped me out. We would always meet in the library to work together. I don't really understand why she wasn't sorted into Ravenclaw, because she's so smart, but Gryffindor is a great house as well.

I didn't really know many people. Of course I knew Hermione Granger, but I also knew Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, who was in my Herbology class, and the professors. Oh
