Hey, it's me! Xenia! I will be narrating for a couple chapters!

On September 1st, my Muggle mom and dad took me to King's Cross, I went through the wall to Platform 9 3/4, and I went on the Hogwarts Express. Nothing too exciting. I went into a seat in one of the section thingies (I was 12, okay? I didn't know what they were called) all by myself with my black and white cat Smith.

My cat has all white fur except for a black spot on his back. I let him run around, as long as he didn't go wondering around the train. I was giggling while watching Smith chasing his tail when I heard the door open.

I looked to my right and saw a girl with red and blonde hair and grey eyes. "Hello," she said to me with a smile. "Can I sit here with you? There are no more spots."

"Yeah, sure," I answered with a smile.

"Thanks." She came in, shut the door, put her suitcase above the seats, and sat across from me. "Is it okay if I let my owl out?"

"Yes," I nodded. "As long as your owl doesn't attack my cat."

"I was going to let her out if your cat didn't attack my owl." She smiled.

"No," I shook my head with a small smile. "My cat doesn't attack birds that are bigger than him."

The girl giggled a little bit, and let her owl out of its cage.

"What's your cat's name?" the girl asked me.

"Smith," I said happily. "Your owl?"

"Viola."

"What's your name?" I smiled at her.

"Oh, right, sorry!" she said. "I'm Aura Malfoy." Aura put her right hand out.

"Xenia Fairchild." I shook her hand.

"That's a pretty name, Xenia."

"Thank you. But it's not as pretty as your name, Aura. My name might be unique, but your name grabs people's attention."

"Yours does more!" Aura said a little loudly.

"Nuh uh!"

"Yes, it does!"

I heard the door open again.

"Sorry to interrupt," a girl with pink hair and blue eyes said shyly, "but I can't find anywhere else to sit. May I?"

"Sure," Aura and I said at the same time.

The pink-haired girl smiled and shut the door after she entered. She walked in front of Aura and me to put her stuff away, then sat right next to me.

"I'm Tess Booker," Tess said. "Can I let Peckers out?"

"Sure," I said. "I'm Xenia Fairchild." Tess let her owl, Peckers, out of the cage.

"I'm Aura," Aura said. "Aura Malfoy."

"Malfoy?" Tess asked Aura with a fake smile. "Sooo...you're okay with me sitting here?"

"Yes," Aura nodded.

"Even though I'm not in your House? And I'm not a pureblood?"

"Yes!" Aura said. "I don't care! I think a witch or wizard should be treated by the way they act, not by their blood status. I like Muggle-borns and half-bloods a little more than purebloods. Most purebloods are complete jerks. For example, my brother Draco -"

"Draco?" The door opened again. A girl with dark brown hair and greenish-blueish eyes stood in the doorway. A cat at her feet walked into the compartment and jumped up on the seat next to Aura. "Draco Malfoy?"

"Uh, yeah," Tess answered.

"Hey, I know you." Aura pointed to the girl. "You're that girl that was at Flourish and Blotts. I'm sorry, but what's your name again?"

"Morana Drax," Morana answered. "Can I sit in here with you? I won't be able to move my cat now. Once BellaBee starts sleeping someplace I won't be able to move her without having a thousand scratches on me."

"Yeah, sure," I said, a little nervous about Morana. If Morana knew Draco, who was mean to Muggle-borns, maybe Morana would be mean to Muggle-borns herself. It only makes sense.

Morana sat next to Aura, right after moving her cat, BellaBee, over slightly.

"I'm Tess," Tess told Morana.

"I know that you're Aura," Morana pointed to Aura before looking and pointing at me.

"And I'm Xenia," I said. "Morana do you...do you hate Muggle-borns?"

"Yes," she answered. "Why?"

"No reason," I said quickly. "It's just...I'm a half-blood and my cousin is a Muggle-born soooooo..."

"Mmm-hmm," Morana said with a smirk. "I know that the truth is is that you are a Muggle-born."

"How -?"

"Please," Morana interrupted me with an eye roll. "I lie a lot. I can tell when someone else is lying."

"Good point," Tess murmured.

"So," Aura said, probably to change the conversation. "Morana. How have you been?"

Morana smiled. "I thought you'd never ask."

And we all started talking to each other. Which, honestly? Was pretty nice. I felt like I maybe made a couple friends.
