I'm sure Aura told you already but I (Tess) will be narrating next.

Okay, so Xenia covered our first very terrible Defense Against the Dark Arts class, now I need to tell you something. In my second year at Hogwarts I started getting visions. Well, this first chapter will mainly be about that vision. Occasionally my visions come in dream form. My first vision ever did.

I seemed to have been...at the Quidditch field down on the school grounds. I was on the ground looking at the Gryffindor Quidditch team and the Slytherin one as well. The Gryffindor team was coming down into the grass after being in the air.

"Flint!" the Gryffindor captain said. "This is our practice time! We got up specially! You can clear now!"

"Plenty of room for all of us, Wood," spoke who I think must have been Flint.

"But I booked the field!" Wood, I think, said back to Flint. "I booked it!"

Flint spoke again, "Ah. But I've got a specially signed note here from Professor Snape. 'I, Professor S. Snape, give the Slytherin team permission to practice today on the Quidditch field owing to the need to train their new Seeker.'"

"You've got a new Seeker?" Wood asked Flint, who seemed clearly distracted. "Where?"

From behind six of the boys from the Slytherin team came a smaller boy, about my age. I couldn't tell what he looked like at first, but then I realized who he was: Draco Malfoy, Aura's twin brother.

Fred Weasley was looking at Draco with dislike, and said, "Aren't you Lucius Malfoy's son?"

The whole Slytherin team smiled broadly as Flint spoke, "Funny you should mention Draco's father. Let me show you the generous gifts he's made to the Slytherin team."

Everyone on the Slytherin Quidditch team held out their broomsticks. If I could gasp in dreams I would have just then. They were holding highly polished, brand-new handles, with gold lettering that said 'Nimbus Two Thousand and One'.

"Very latest model. Only came out last month," Flint spoke as he was flicking a speck of dust off of his Nimbus Two Thousand and One. "I believe it outstrips the old Two Thousand series by a considerable amount. As for the old Cleansweeps -" he smiled really nastily at Fred and George Weasley, who were holding what looked like Cleansweep Fives "- sweeps the board with them."

Nobody spoke for a little while until Flint spoke again, "Oh, look. A field invasion."

Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger (an old friend of mine) were coming over to the two Quidditch teams to see what was wrong.

Ron spoke to Harry Potter first, "What's happening? Why aren't you playing? And what's he doing here?" I could tell he was talking about Draco because he was looking at him.

"I'm the new Slytherin Seeker, Weasley," Draco said smugly. "Everyone's just been admiring the brooms my father's bought our team."

Ron gaped, open-mouthed, at the Sytherin team's broomsticks.

"Good aren't they?" Draco began again. "But perhaps the Gryffindor team will be able to raise some gold and get new brooms, too. You could raffle off those Cleansweep Fives, I expect a museum would bid for them." The whole Slytherin team laughed at that joke, or at least in their minds it was a joke.

"At least no one on the Gryffindor team had to buy their way in," Hermione said to Draco sharply. (I was starting to like this girl more and more!) "They got in on pure talent."

The look on Draco's face flickered for just a second, and I wondered what he was going to say next.

"No one asked your opinion, you filthy little Mudblood," Draco said to Hermione.
