Make them Count
Peace comes at a price
Equivalent to how many lives?
After how many years?
Change? Do we have them?
Exactly how much money was spent?
Come and look back in the history
Open the book of our country
Men and women, elders and children
Everyone paid for the peace we're given
Saving beloved Philippines for its citizen
After Spaniards, Americans, and Japanese
Together we stand for the rewarded peace
Are we having it true these days?
Put your hands together and pray
River of blood to stop flowing
In our dear Pearl of the Orient
Celebrate the peace for which we've fought
Every price we've paid, make them count
