Is it Worth it?

Peace comes at a price

One more costly than rice

Yet many are willing to pay their piece

Embracing the opposite of peace

Peace comes at a price

The costs of lives diced

Hoping in the end the lives sacrificed

Would tilt the balance toward the sacred

Are those sacrifices worth it, in the end?

For a few minutes that are doomed to end?
