Eden and Ed entered the New City on feet. Eden was wearing her uniform under her coat. Ed was walking next to her, hiding his face under the hood and his tribal tunic beneath his long coat. They were lucky that at that time of the night most of the Citizens were sound asleep on their beds. As they kept on walking without speaking, Eden suddenly stopped in front of a screen.

She saw her photograph on a screen and a large amount of money as a reward beneath it for providing crucial information about her location. Atlantis must have been desperate to announce an open reward. Those kinds of issues used to be settled with private contracts. Most likely they wanted her back alive but she wasn't going to bet her life on it.

"Oh! It seems you are on sale." Ed commented on the Eden's price. "So that's what they think you are worth for. Pretty cheap if you ask me but I guess people come cheap nowadays."

"We don't have time for small talk right now." Eden interrupted him and started walking again.

"Do you have any idea where we are going or you are just improvising once more?" He asked her trying to catch up with her.

"I blew up my house before coming to you and I don't have access to any of my resources that are connected with Atlantis. That means that for the moment I am homeless, broke and probably pretty desperate."

"Or that's what you want them to believe. You never place your bets on one number. They probably have figured it out by now."

"Of course they have. I am predictably unpredictable but only for the ones who know who I am. They have always focused on what I am capable of accomplish. So we still have a narrow time frame to get what we need."

"What that would be? One way tickets for Wonderland?" Ed asked.

"That would be fun but I run out of magic cookies for the moment and it's not the time for you to take a bite of the cookie that's implanted on you. Come on, we are close."
