Karissa: Chapter 14: The Flames Ignite

Lord David set a warm fire out in the living room and he smiles at Karissa and said, "I love you Karissa. I just don't want causal sex with you. I want to make love to you. I want to feel both of us soar." 

"I thought told you David. I don't have causal sex with any man. I must feel something for him or I would not engage in romantic, erotic love affair with him." Karissa tells him.

"Do you love me just a little Karissa?" David asks her.

"I don't want to see forward David, but I wouldn't be sleeping with you if I didn't feel something for you." Karissa answers dressed in white lace lingerie.

"What about Lt Riley and Lt Howard?" David asks.

"I am not concerning what they think." Karissa replies, "It is so mundane."

"I want to marry you and make an honest woman out of you Karissa." David tells her.

"I think I am pretty honest and to say the least I am open-minded, not narrow minded, and I think the only opinion that matters right now is our own." Karissa answers.

"May I ask you question Karissa?" David asks.

"You may ask me whatever you like?" Karissa replies.

"Did Mr Roy and you make love to each other?" David asks.

"We did make love several times and we could feel the electricity between us. It was so great and so intense." Karissa explains. "I think the best part was the afterglow."

"I want to feel that same electricity between us Karissa and the same afterglow." David answers, "How did you know Mr. Roy?"

"I knew Roy since I was in high school." Karissa answers.

"When did you meet Mr Roy? " David asks.

"I met Roy when I was a sophomore in High School." Karissa answers, "He was so handsome, and so smart. I was just a plain old ugly duckling. but Roy didn't think so." 

"Who said that you were ugly Karissa?" David asks.

"Everyone in my family." Karissa answers, "It is like that Fairy Tale "The Ugly Duckling" but the ugly duckling actually turned into a beauty swan." 

"You take from me that you are far from being ugly Karissa. I think your own family needs their head examined." David says with a laugh.

"The truth is David. That I was adopted and I don't know who my natural parent's are." Karissa tells David.

"Does really matter who  your parent's are Karissa?" David asks.

"Yes I think does and it define who I am really am." Karissa answers, "I accepted the Scholarship to Star Fleet Academy to escape my loss from losing Roy." 

"The last thing that Roy me was not to cry David. I had to hold my tears and he said, "Be strong Karissa! Be Brave Karissa. I will see you in the Summerland." Roy told me.

"The Summerland is the equivalent of The Judaeo-Christian Heaven for Wicca." Karissa explains,"It is a beautiful where we go to and there is no suffering, loss or pain." 

"All Pagans, Witches, and Wicca go to The Summerland where they live in peace and harmony." Karissa explains,"Roy was cremated and his ashes were scattered over his late grand mother grave as he requested." 

"I held Roy's hand in mine and he took last breathe and the life support monitor gradually disappeared and he finally passed away." Karissa tells David.

"I walked of his room after the nurse and doctor pronounced him dead and placed the sheet over his body and I went to find the chapel and got down on my knees and pray to The Lord and Lady to take care of him for me."  Karissa tells David.
