Karissa: Star Trek Romance Novel Chapter 17: The Evening at Elmhurst Estate.

Lord David persuaded Karissa to stay the night at Elmhurst Estate. It was apparent that he was gallant, handsome, and he was proficient as a lover.

"I am so glad that you are staying over tonight Karissa." David tells Karissa.

"I didn't have the heart to turn you down David, but let's don't make this a regular thing" Karissa asks. "You know that I reside at Madame's Boarding House."

"I am going to try to persuade you to move into Elmhurst Estate." David tells Karissa.

"David, I told you that I would stay tonight." Karissa explains,  "I thought you would get through your thick head." 

"It is so lonely here Karissa. This manor is so lonely and dark without you." David tells Karissa.

"I am sorry David. I will try to come over here more." Karissa answers.

"Pleases Karissa move in with me here at Elmhurst Estate, and I promise that you will not regret it ." David tells her.

"I will give you my late mother's  suites and she has a private bathroom." David tells Karissa, "She has a closet full of beautiful dresses that she never wore and I know you will grace well." 

"I don't understand you David aren't you happy with just having me." Karissa asks, "I live at Madame's Boarding House for a reason."

"Why did you choose Madame's Boarding House Karissa?" David asks.

"I chose Madame's Boarding House because I don't like Star Fleet Academy dorms." Karissa states, "The young women dress like Jezebels." 

"They expose their busts and their rear-ends around the campus. They flirt with all the young officers." Karissa replies, "I am pretty sure that they sleep with most of them." 

"I mean is that really appropriate military behavior David." Karissa asks him.

"No of course Karissa. There are rules that they must follow and if they are reported they will receive a notice about how they are dressed and they are not suppose to be sleeping with any of the  other students on campus." David states.

"I just don't approve of that immoral behavior and lewd conduct." Karissa replies.

"What about us Karissa?? Do you use improper behavior and lewd conduct?" David asks.

"We are not on campus David. We are off campus and I don't show my bust and rear end on campus. This is why I sat under the tall, oak tree every day. This way I would not be noticed but I was anyway." Karissa explains.

"How many young men did notice you Karissa besides Lord Andrew Howard and Lt  Riley?" David asks.

"I don't know and I did not notice them, all but Lt Kevin Riley and Lt Andrew Howard and you of course." Karissa answers.

"How many men have you seduced since you have been Karissa?" David asks.

"Not one of them yet. I actually put off all of them." Karissa states, "You are the exception to the rule."

"You want a daughter don't you Karissa and if I have succeeded like we planned you are mine." David tells Karissa.

"You think so David." Karissa retorts, "We will not know the fruits of our labor for three months." 

"I am a patient man Karissa or you just as patient?" David asks Karissa.

"I am very patient David." Karissa replies.

"We will see just how patient that you are I know that you want a daughter." David states.

"This is not a big secret David." Karissa says with a laugh.
