Elmhurst Estate was built like a fortress and she didn't like there.

"Why did your later great grand father build Elmhurst Estate like a fortress. Was he expecting invaders or intruders to get onto his property." Karissa asks.

"My great grand father was a strange man Karissa." David explains.

"How strange?" Karissa asks.

"My great grandfather died before I was born and I don't really know him." David explains.

"My great grand father was Lord David Edward Christopher William Beck and he married Lady Catherine Devereux. She was the daughter of  Lord Walter Devereux and Lady Frances Scott." David explains, " My grand-father, Lord Christopher David Edward Beck married Lady Penelope Rich, and she was the daughter of  Lord Walter Rich and Lady Catherine Knollys, and  they have my father, Lord William David Beck and he married my late mother, Lady Eliza Catherine Howard. She was the daughter of  Lord Charles Edward Louis Howard and Lady Anne Stuart." David explains.

"You see my family is just minor Aristocrats but they married into some of the most prestigious family on Star Base 12." David explains, "My great grand father received a handsome dowry from Lord Walter Devereux when he married my late grand grand mother.'

"Lady Catherine was glad to live a lavish lifestyle as the rest of my family." David tells Karissa.

"My late mother Lady Eliza inherited White Hall Estate from her mother, Lady Elizabeth Rich and she was the great niece  of Lady  Penelope Rich." David explains.

"Lord Charles Howard marries Lady Elizabeth Rich and they have two children, but only one lives that is my mother, Lady Eliza Catherine Howard but my grand-father, Lord Charles has a lady-love, Lady Sarah Winston, and they have a daughter, Lady  Louisa Emily Winston."  David explains.

"How did your mother    take it when she heard she a baby sister?" Karissa asks.

"My lady mother was delighted and she accepted Lady Louisa as her sister, but they were not permitted to see each other. Lady Elizabeth Rich would not allow my mother to see her sister." David explains.

"My late father was betrothed to my late mother, Lady Eliza shortly before she graduated from The Finishing School." Lord David explains.

"This is what I heard, but I don't know how much truth there is too it." David tells Karissa.

"One evening at the Finishing School they held a dance for the young woman and the gentleman that attended the Parochial School and they brought them into dance with each other and a tall, handsome gentleman walks up to my lady mother, Lady Eliza and asks she wants to dance. They dance with each other.

"They fall in love with each other and he comes to visit her  at the Finishing School and they meet often until she graduates from Finishing School in late May of 2250, she was nearly 18 and this is gentleman was charming and they met each other and they met often at the Finishing  School." David explain.

"It was said that this gentleman and she would dally and they would make love to each other in the gardens at The Finishing School, but after she graduated in May of 2250. She returned home to White Hall Estate. It was at that time that she was told that she was betrothed to my late father, Lord William Beck.'
