Part 25: Changes

I woke up but my eyes didn't open. I wasn't aware of my surroundings but I heard voices. I was on someone's lap and held against their chest. Cold was nipping at my face, other than that I was really warm. 

"She's gonna wake up soon." A familiar voice says. It was Matt and Emma. "She doesn't want to go back home with you."

"I know that she doesn't, but you have to let us take her back." Louis spoke up next.

"Why would I let you after what you said to her?" Matt hisses.

"I didn't mean what I said, I was mad, I do stupid stuff. You have to believe me, I would never hurt her like that." Louis whispers.

"Have you even seen the scars, burns, and scrapes on her?" Emma asks.

"Those were from her old dad! Not me! I'm her legal guardian, you can't keep her from me!" Louis shouts.

"Just watch me." Matt snaps. I let my eyes flutter open. I was wearing Niall's jacket, I was on his lap, and he was cuddling me close. I wrap my arms around his waist.

"Oh thank God." Niall murmurs kissing me. 

"I'm sorry." I cry.

"Don't be sorry babe." Niall hugs me closer. I dig my head into the crook of his neck letting tears escape my eyes. "Aw, don't cry."

"My mum doesn't even think it's a good idea to give her back to you." Emma tells him.

"That doesn't matter, Allison doesn't belong to your mum." Louis grits through his teeth.

"She is coming to pick us up in five minutes then going somewhere to give us custody." Matt explains.

"What?" I croak lifting my head out. I bolt off of Niall's lap. "As much as I love you guys I can't. I promised something to Danny and I broke that promise. I'm not going to live with you." With that I take off towards the hospital ignoring the calls after me. I run into the building up to the front desk.

"How can I help you?"

"What room is Danny D-Tomlinson in?" I catch myself.

"182."

"Thanks." I reply before bolting towards his room. I race into his room and almost pass out at the sight of my little brother. I break down into a fit of sobs dropping down by the wall. If I didn't run away he wouldn't be here.
