Isabelle's P.O.V.

We landed with a thump and a lot of grunts, "Thanks for the soft landing. No really, did we land on pillows?" I asked sarcastically and sat up. We seemed to have landed in a forest clearing, and Annabelle was nowhere to be seen.

"Um... Ann- I mean Kylie?" grunts and groans replied.

"Up here," Annabelle called. "Oomph! That is how NOT to get out of a tree."

"Hey do you know where we are 'cause they didn't mention it. AT ALL," I said, frustrated.

"No clue, Scooby Doo," Annabelle replied. "I don't know, I'm bored."

"We should start walking until we see a town or something." I said looking around again and picking a random direction.

Most of the time I hated the outdoors, but something about this forest seemed . . . beautiful and breathtaking. Birds chirped overhead and we even saw some deer run past us. It was really peaceful but I couldn't fully enjoy it because I was worried about the other supernatural beings that live in this forest. All angels can sense one another and any magical beings like werewolves, faeries, witches, etc. and right now I can sense werewolves and faeries.

"Do you feel like your being watched, Is-Rylie? 'Cause I can't shake the feeling," Annabelle asked when we reached a small lake to take a break.

My head snapped towards Annabelle, "Why didn't you mention it a few minutes ago!?" My eyes scanned over the trees around us. Thank God they let us keep our heightened senses (sight, speed, strength, hearing, smell). If there was anyone there they were damn good at hiding but not so good at hiding their scent. It smelt like rain and pine needles but under that I could smell something else. Something human.

'Annabelle, when I give you the signal I want you to run as fast as you can in the other direction. Do NOT come back for me and do NOT stop running, do you understand?' I demanded through our mind link (kind of like a werewolf mind link but angels share it with the person they trust the most in the world).

'What do you- oh . . . ' Annabelle gulped when she smelt it. 'Werewolves. Yeah I understand.'

'1 . . . 2 . . . 3 . . . GO!' Annabelle took off, running as fast as she could which was about the speed of a train at it's fastest. Ten wolves jumped out of the bushes, most of them were grey but two wolves seemed to stick out the most. One was a jet black wolf with gold eyes that seemed to sparkle in the sun. He was huge! Almost as tall as me when I was in my angel form and power was rolling off him. Alpha's son, I thought. The second wolf was a deep grey, almost black and had blue eyes. He had power too but not much, probably a beta's son.

I saw movement in the corner of my eye and my head snapped to were a wolf was trying to get past me and go after my sister. Not today, bastard, I thought bitterly and crouched low to the ground. The soon-to-be Alpha watched cautiously and the others growled at me. I pounced and landed gracefully in front of the wolf. It yelped in surprise as I kicked it hard in the chest and it flew back into a tree. That's when all hell broke loose.

An auburn wolf attacked me but I slid under it, while punching it in the stomach. She whimpered and a brown wolf pounced. I punched him hard in the chest and he flew back hitting a tree and getting knocked out in the process. Three down, seven to go.

A she-wolf tried to attack from behind but I quickly turned and kicked her in the head hard enough that she got knocked out before she even hit a tree. I winced as the tree cracked. Six more to go. Two came at me fast and jumped, I jumped and kicked both of them. Four more. Two came to me cautiously. They were bigger then the last ones, but probably not that much smarter. One stayed in front of me while the other went behind me. They charged and at the last second I stepped out of the way, causing them to run straight into each other.
