The Twins (ON HOLD)

Chapter Three

Chase's P.O.V.

I was sitting in my dad's office when we got the warning about trespassers. I stood up to leave but before I could Dad said to bring them to the pack house. I gave him a questioning look but nodded.

When I got outside, nine other wolves, including the Beta's son, John, were already there.

"What took you so long? Did you get lost in Narnia or something man?" John said, walking over to me.

'Come on, lets go!' my wolf, Ryder, urged.

'What is it with you? All day you've been really pushy," I asked.

'You'll see,' he replied.

We took off our clothes and shifted into our wolves, mine was a deep black while John's was a deep grey. The most common colours for wolves is light grey, brown and sometimes auburn, but Alphas were either black or white.

It took awhile to find the sent of the rogues but we found it, however, they didn't smell like them. I smelt two, one smelt like strawberries and sugar while the other smelt amazingly like strawberry angel food cake and mint. Then we saw them, they were both beautiful but my eyes stayed on one. She was absolutely stunning hair darker then my wolf and eyes that shone like emeralds. Her blood red top and leather jacket hugged her every curve perfectly and her black skinny jeans made my wolf go crazy.

'Shit, I didn't know rogues could be so hot. And they're twins! Oh this is a good day boys,' Jake, the player in our pack, said through the mind link. I growled, I did not like the looks they were giving my rogue but I don't know why.

'Alpha, what do you want us to do?' Stevie mind linked me. She was one of the three girls with us.

'Watch them, see what they are up to. I'll give the order when to attack,' I replied, but I hated the idea of attacking.

30 minutes later, the rogues stopped by a lake, "Do you feel like your being watched, Is-Rylie? 'Cause I can't shake the feeling," the one in the yellow dress said.

The other one's head snapped up. "Why didn't you mention it a few minutes ago?!" Oh god, her voice. She then watched the forest around her. We were hidden pretty well but she then sniffed the air. Shit, I thought. Rylie's eyes glazed over and so did her twins', kind of like when we use mind link. All of a sudden, her twin bolted it and all of my wolves jumped out of hiding. Rylie's eyes trailed over us.

'Jake, go after her sister,' John commanded and Jake happily tried to sneak around Rylie. She saw this and crouched, then jumped and landed in front of Jake. He yelped when she kicked him, sending him flying. Oh no.

An auburn wolf, who I think was Ella attacked her but she slid under, while punching her in the stomach. Ella whimpered and Aaron pounced. Rylie punched him hard in the chest and he flew back hitting a tree getting knocked out. I winced at that. She smirked. Kayla tried to attack from behind but Rylie turned quickly and kicked her in the head hard enough that she got knocked out before she even hit the tree. She and I both winced as the tree cracked. Stella and Finn ran and jumped, but Rylie jumped and kicked both of them. Cael and Tye came cautiously. Tye stayed in front of her while Cael went behind her. They charged and at last second, she stepped out of the way. Making them collide. I chuckled in my head at that but was shocked to discover that all of them were down except me and John. Rylie looked at us, smirked, then ran faster then her sister.

'Everyone shift back,' I mind linked the people who were now awake. They put on their clothes and came out from behind the trees groaning.

"That girl is strong," Ella (redhead and auburn wolf) said, holding her stomach.

"Take a break and we'll go after them when your ready," I said and looked after that girl.

Four minutes later we were looking again when we heard voices and slowed but Tye just had to step on a twig.

They bolted it again and Isabelle passed her twin but slowed down so they were at the same speed.

"Sorry, Kylie!" Rylie cried and looked like she was gonna push her ahead but before she could, Cael tackled them.

Six of us (me, John, Kayla, Ella, Stella, and Finn) went behind a tree to shift while three held down Isabelle and one held down Annabelle.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here? Rogues? or vampires?" Kayla sneered at Rylie. But Rylie didn't seem to really pay attention. Her eyes were on me and my breath hitched. God, she was beautiful and I knew why I felt protective of her. This beautiful girl that seemed to be a creature from heaven was my mate. The thing I have been looking for since I could shift at the age of 13. Her eyes soon left me to look at all the other wolves. She stopped at Ella and Stella.

Her eyes flickered over to Kayla again, "None of your damn business, dog. Or should I call you bitch?" I coughed to cover a laugh.

"Oh great we've got a sassy one," Ella said.

"Shut up, carrot," Rylie replied, Kylie's eyes glazed over and so did Rylie's, Rylie shot her twin a glare and her twin returned it making Rylie roll her eyes.

Both twins hadn't noticed the Beta in front of them until he was 3 inches away.

"They're mind linking each other," he observed.

Rylie smiled at him then quickly punched him in the gut, "There is such thing as personal space, buddy."

"RYLIE! Don't be so disrespectful to a beta," Kylie said and turned to John. "I'm sorry about her, Beta. I would tell you she's not always like this, but that would be a lie."

"Chase . . . Chase . . . CHASE!" Tye yelled trying to get my attention but my eyes never left Rylie. Her eyes glazed over and the beta walked over to me and started to shake me really hard to the point I was worried about getting whip lash. I heard laughter and we all turned to see Rylie laughing.

She stopped, but I wish she hadn't, "What!? He looks funny with his head rolling around like that."

"Um . . . the rest of you take that one to the pack house, I'll take her" the other wolves obeyed but John hesitated, 'Go, I'll be fine,' I mind linked him. He left and I waited until they were gone to do the thing I wanted to do the most.

"So-" I cut her off by slamming her into a tree.

"MINE!" My wolf said and crashed our lips onto hers, all I can say is that this was Heaven. Her hands tangled in my hair and I wrapped her legs around my waist. I licked her bottom lip, asking for entrance but she denied. I grabbed her ass, still nothing. I slowly trailed my hand up her spine sending sparks everywhere and she gasped in shock. I shoved my tongue into her mouth and she moaned in pleasure. God, I wanted to mark her right there at that sound but I held my wolf back. We broke apart, both of us breathing heavily. She smirked as my face heated up when she noticed my 'friend' was present.

"We should probably get going," she said as she got off me and started to walk in the direction where everyone else went, but then she said the thing I wanted to hear the most.

"Mate."
