Chase's P.O.V.

I have and always will be a monster, her words rung through my head over and over, on repeat as I watched her run into the woods. Is she really a monster? Or was I just blinded by the fact that she was my mate to see the cold, hard truth? I mean, look at the way she beat Ed up, not even a single ounce of mercy in her cruel actions.

'You Dip-shit, she is NOT a monster, she is our mate and she had a right to beat up Ed. He disrespected his Luna,' Ryder said, frustrated and I immediately felt guilty about what I had felt. Ryder's right, Ed disrespected her and even if he didn't know about her being his Luna, any wolf would have done the same.

'I'm always right, Dip-shit,' he said teasingly.

I rolled my eyes at him. If you haven't noticed, Ryder is a bit full of himself but I love him anyway.

'Aw, love you too, Dip-shit . . . Now go and find our mate.'

"I'm going to go see if she's alright," I said to Kylie and my dad.

"I don't think she wants to talk to you at the moment, Chase. I think it'd be best to leave her to cool off," Kylie's shy voiced said from behind me. I frowned at that.

"I agree with Kylie. You do not want to mess with women when they're pissed or you might lose the ability to produce children," my dad said with a grimace.

"He's right, give her time to relax," a girl said, walking up to Kylie and lacing their hands together. Kylie's face lighted up with a smile and she looked at the girl.

I frowned in confusion and asked my wolf who that girl was.

'Do you see the way Kylie's face light up when the girl took her hand? Do you see the look in her eyes as she looks at the girl? Do you see any of this or are you blind as well as stupid?' He replied and it all clicked.

"Mates," I said, a slight smile on my face. Kylie deserved better then that ass, Jason.

"Finally! I was wondering if my son was dropped on his head one too many times as a kid. I mean, I knew as soon as I saw them come out of the forest but you, it took you, what, 30 minutes? An hour?" My ever so loving father said.

You better have heard the sarcasm in that sentence.

"Hey! I've only had a mate for a day, so you can't blame me."

"Yeah, I can."

"No, you can't."

"Yes, he can," Kylie and her mate said at the same time.

"I thought you were on my side!" I exclaimed.

"Who said that?" The girl asked, smirking.

"Um . . . By the way, what's your name?"

"I'm Bailey, but you can call me Bay, and you must be Alpha Dan's son, Chase," she replied and I nodded my head.

"So, what pack are you from? I haven't seen you around here before,"Dad asked curiously.

She gulped and I saw tears brim her eyes, "Bloody Moon pack, Alpha."

My dad and I shared a look. The Bloody Moon pack was one of the bloodiest and cruel pack in the world. They are abusive, rude and down right bastards, known for beating their own pack members. If it wasn't for the fact that they threaten and black mail every pack not to tell them, they would have been wiped out by the Council Warriors.
