Chapter 14

Isabelle’s P.O.V.

*2 MONTHS LATER*

I stood in the mirror, touching the mark on my neck. Chase and I had dated for one month before I let him mark me and I still remember the shock on his face and then the grin that over took it. Annabelle and Bailey are still dating and they agreed to take it slow but by the way they are acting, I give them a week before they mark each other.

“What are you thinking about?” Chase asked, snaking his arms around my waist and lightly kissing my neck.

"Nothing,” I said and he smiled.

"Then you’re not doing anything,” he said and picked me up and placed me on our bed, kissing me.

"Alpha, the- OH GOD, MY POOR INNOCENT EYES!!” Someone yelled from our door and an annoyed look over came his face, climbing off me and glaring at his beta.

“Warrior Darcy,” Faira called from the door. “Some of the other pack warriors wanted to talk to you.”

Chase had taken the Alpha title one month early and I took the title of best warrior of the pack, which meant that Chase and I rarely get any time together.

A couple hours later, Chase, Isabelle and I where preparing dinner for the pack, when a burning sensation from the necklace around my neck appeared on my chest and I screamed out in pain, Chase immediately ran to my side when Annabelle screamed as well and two voices filled my head.

‘Ire In Foresta,’ the voices said together in Latin (meaning: go to the forest) and I looked at Annabelle.

We walked to the forest and the pack watched in confusion, Annabelle and I stopped a couple feet from the edge of the forest. I looked up and noticed the full moon.

“Isabelle, Annabelle,” Someone greeted and our eyes widened at the two people, a man and woman, in front of us. The woman had on a black long dress with flowing sleeves that shined like the night stars, her hair was the same colour as the moon and flowed freely down her back. She had deep blue eyes and a kind smile.

The man was wearing a robe the colour of the sun. He had fiery red hair and yellow eyes, with a smirk on his face. I knew instantly who these people were.

Annabelle and I fell down to one knee and bent our heads down in respect of the god and goddess in front of us, “Please, stand, my children,” they said and we stood up, bowing before looking at them.

“Moon Goddess, Sun God, please, don’t think this is rude of me but what are you doing here?” Annabelle asked.

“We are here to ask you two a very important question,” the Moon Goddess said and I gave her a questioning look.

“The Angel World is under attack by Demons and we are here to give you two back your powers and wings to help save the Angels,” the Sun God said and I looked over at Annabelle.

‘Should we?’ I mind linked her.

‘We are talking about all the Angels in the Angel World,’ she told me and I looked back at them.

“Count us in,” I said and they smiled. “But does that mean that we will no longer have our wolves?”

“Isabelle, your wolf helps you see rationally in every situation,” The Sun God said to me.

“And Annabelle, your wolf gives you strength and the ability to act quickly,” the Moon Goddess said to Annabelle.

“So, of course we won’t take your wolves but we will do this,” the Sun God said and the Moon Goddess snapped her fingers. Almost instantly, I felt a sharp pain in my chest, like as if my wolf was clawing at it. I gasped for breath and Chase ran to me, only to be stopped by the Sun God. The pain stopped and I felt something soft help me to my feet. I looked up and saw Zoe staring back at me.
