Annabelle's P.O.V.

The next couple of days, Isabelle put us through hell, training us for the war that is to come.

"Isabelle, we need to talk," I said, walking into the office that Isabelle had ever since she became the head Warrior.

"About what?" she asked, not looking up from the stack of papers in front of her.

"We need to rest, for the past few days, you've trained us to the point of exhaustion and we need a break. You have barely spent time with your mate and I know it pains both of you," I said, looking her in the eye and she sighed, looking up at me with tired eyes.

"You're right, but I have to save the Angel world, even if they banished us," she said, her body sagging into her chair.

"I know and I'm not saying that you have to stop planning, just rest for at least two hours. Spend time with your mate, go flying with me, do anything that doesn't involve this office and the war," I said and she looked at me, a smile tugging at her lips.

"Meet me outside in five minutes," she said and a grin broke out on my face, nodding and heading out of the office.

Five minutes later, Isabelle stepped outside, her silver hair flowing freely down her back.

"Shall we fly?" she asked, looking at me.

"We shall," and with that our wings burst out and we soared into the afternoon sky. We flew around for a while, laughing when we scared a bird.

Our wings glided through the sky as we soared over the clouds. After an hour we landed on the ground laughing. Chase was outside and he smiled at his mate. They still haven't mated but then again I'm not one to judge considering the fact that Bailey and I haven't even marked each other yet. But honestly I'm not even sure how that would work for... our situation.

Isabelle and I spent a couple of minutes together just talking and laughing before her mate swept her away and I went in search for mine. After a couple minutes of looking, I found her in the library, reading a book.

"Hey, Anna!" she said when she saw me and set the book down. "Did you manage to get Isabelle out of her office?"

"She even went flying with me," I said and looked at the book. "Breaking Dawn? Really?"

"Don't knock it 'till you try it," she said, smiling at me and I laughed at her. We lapsed into silence and she picked up the book again.

"What's the first book?" I sighed and her head shot up to me before getting up and grabbing the book of a shelf.

I sat down in the seat across from her and started to read the first page.

Chase's P.O.V.

"Chase," Isabelle called out and I looked up at her. "Want to go on a run?"

"Sure," I said and walked over to her and kissed her, enjoying the sparks that erupted whenever we kissed. I pulled away. "Now about that run," I said and she laughed.

We walked outside, hand in hand, and I shifted into my wolf while her wings broke free from her back. She was so, so beautiful.

"Stop staring and start running, lover boy," and with that, she took off, gliding over the forest floor as I chased after her. I nipped at her foot and she swatted me with her wing, laughing. We played a game of tag as we ran/flew and stopped on at the bottom of a mountain. She looked at me, pleading with me and I gave a wolfy laugh, nodding my head and following her up the mountain. We climbed as high up as we could and stopped, looking at the view.
