Fault

It is all his fault. Dazai trembling with anger. He is now completely able to move his body. He watched as Chuuya's body fell in the ground. I'm his stomach, a knife is impaled. Blood gushing out from the new wound. Dazai came hurriedly to Chuuya's side and held his body. He is a terrible person. He managed to hurt the only one who knew he cared about too much.

Chuuya coughed up some blood and his gentle hand touched Dazai's cheek.

"Bakazai. I won't die yet. We are still gonna commit double suicide like on what you dreamt of. Right?"

Dazai pulled his gun from the coat and held it into his head. As his finger is finding its way to the trigger, Chuuya slapped the gun out.

"You really are as stupid guy Dazai. What do you think you are doing?"

"I'll be dead with you"

"No! We will still live you know that? And beacause of this, you owe me one" Chuuya giggled as more blood came out of His wound.

"Dazai. Please do this."

Chuuya kissed Dazai in the lips.

"Please wait until we can die together. Please........live"

Chuuya's hand on Dazai's cheek felt limp as it fell on the ground. Dazai looked stunned. He is shaking terribly. He got his coat and wrapped it around Chuuya's delicate body. He reached the gun and put it in his pocket. He stood up, carried Chuuya and walked to the entrance of this mad wonderland.

He have reached the camp, medics rushed to Chuuya's body and they tend the wounds. Dazai on the other hand, sat on a corner and stared at nothingness. He feels like this is just a nightmare. In a blink of an eye, he will wake up and greet his Chuuya. But it is not. Everything in this world is true. He just felt the emptiness of his heart grew as time passes by without Chuuya.

Akutagawa and Gin went to Dazai and told him what happened. Akutagawa tried to comfort Dazai but only to be pushed away by the man.

Fyodor is said to be caught by the opposing team called Guild and that is a relief to the port mafia excluding Dazai. He didn't want Fyodor to be taken away. He wants him to be facing each other and Dazai wants to beat him up because of the things that he did.

He knew that his bloodlust is only a minor thing to be worried about but once that his ability showed its true color, there will be no turning back.

He decided to go to the hospital. It is already a few days after the incident. Chuuya is still in the ICU recovering. His vital parts were not damaged but he is still asleep.

He walked out and made a desicion of his life.

He walked into the building on a corner and went to a specific door. He knocked and it was opened by a man.

"Well, did the cat dragged you in? Osamu"

"Fancy meeting you sir. And about that"

The two of them talked to a while. Fukuzawa accepted the offer. Hiding Dazai's identity and past job and making Dazai one favor, He is now on the Armed Detectives Agency. Fukuzawa let him because he believed that he can change.

Yosano went to the hospital and walked into a room. She saw a red-haired man. He is in a critical condition so the job is easier. She used his ability and walked away.

Dazai went to the port mafia headquarters for the last time. Saying to the men that they should not tell Chuuya on what happend to the mission. They all agreed. Dazai walked up to Akutagawa and patted his head.

"Be strong for me. Okay kiddo?"

Akutagawa seem to be confused but bowed to pay respect.

Dazai went to Chuuya's home and hid the book. He cleaned everything there and removed all of the things related to Dazai. Except to a picture of the two of them.

And lastly, he went to the hospital, put a medicine in Chuuya's blood, and left a note on the top of the nightstand. He kissed his forehead on the last time.

"Goodbye Chuuya. I'll see you again next time"

He walked out.

He believed by doing this, he can get full control of his ability. If Chuuya joined here too, he can use "tainted sorrow" easily but he is too loyal to the port mafia. He left everything at the spot. His mission should be "stalk this man" but he did not came back. He left his apartment on the Port Mafia and changed everything.

This is also what Odasaku must have wanted. For him to be on the right side and help people. Mori seem to be okay with it. Leaving without a trace. If he hunt down Dazai, the port mafia will be in trouble. The 18 year old boss-to-be executive is now gone. He won't have to worry about it anymore.

Dazai seem to have many things in his mind now. It looked like he done this for such things. But the only reason he did this is because, he loved Chuuya.

But this won't be the end for the two of them. They have love too much. As Dazai know, Chuuya won't give up on him. He just need to wait.
