Chapter 5

"Like I said, Who are you and why are you here?" I began to walk off of the bed and slowly made my way to the door. "I see, so it really did work." He muttered to himself. In my mind, I knew that this guy was familiar but, what was his name? "K-Karlheinz?" I questioned as the man looked at me in shock. "So you do remember me. Good."

"Why are you here?" I'll ask him one more time before I open the door. "I thought that you wanted answers." He said simply. I took a step away from the door, "what do you mean by answers."

"I just thought that you wanted to know why you are so confused." He sat on my bed and began to explain. "As you already know, my sons are convinced that you are related to them. You know that that is not true." I eased up a bit and began to become interested in what he was saying. "You weren't born into the Sakamaki family, you indeed are a pureblood by the name of y/n Kuran. the reason you came to be with my sons is because of me." He explained. I was confused but still, let him continue.

"I needed someone different to experiment on. I found out that Juri and Haruka, your parents, were having a daughter. To be exact, that was you. So, a few years after you were born, I took you from them and adjusted your memories a bit to think that you were blood-related to Subaru." I was shocked at that sentence, "what kind of messed up person are you. why would you take a child away from their parents for your own experiment? Did you even get any benefits on the experiment!" I yelled at him as I didn't let him continue.

He got up and walked up to me. I tried to slap his hand away from my face but I missed, he just stood there and held my forehead before he released it. Something hit me right then and there, just where Karlheinz held my forehead. "Arghhh" I groaned in pain and fell to the floor.

"I think I'll be leaving, one other thing: mention our little conversation to anyone else and I'll be sure to make it worse." And with that, he jumped out the window and disappeared from sight.

I clenched my head as I rolled around in pain, it wouldn't stop. I heard something bang against my door until it opened. People flooded the room but I couldn't recognise anyone. Everything was so blurry I felt like I was going to pass out.

"y/n! What happened, can you hear me?" I could hear Kaname yell as he pulled me into his lap. I couldn't move or respond but one word unconsciously left my mouth. "Karlheinz". I was surrounded by darkness as my body fell limp into numbness.

*3rd person POV*

When y/n passed out, everyone gathered around her quickly. "Does anyone know what's happening to her," Kaname asked around the group and only one person looked like he knew something. Subaru. "Subaru, what do you know?" Kou asked as he took a menacing step toward him. Subaru had a look of shock on his face as he spoke.

"I heard her yelling at someone so I tried to see if she was alright but her door was locked. I could hear her talking to someone. They said that it is true that y/n isn't our sister. Guess who it was that told her that." He paused as the Sakamaki's struggled to figure out if what he said was true. "It was him...Karlheinz." Subaru explained further as the others were angered to the bone.

"So, he does have something to do with y/n" Reiji adjusted his glasses and stared at the limp girl lying on her brothers' lap. "Look at her eyes, they're shaking," Kou explained as he pointed to y/n's eyelids.

Kaname opened her eyes and stared at them in confusion. "They're glowing like a vampires eyes." He closed her eyelids and picked her up. Kaname walked over to her bed and set her down carefully. "H-help me." A small whisper fell from her lips into her older brothers ear.

"Hanabusa, could you get the headmaster and bring him here?" Kaname commanded. "Yes, lord Kaname." He answered and ran out of the door.

"You can all leave now, I'll take care of her from now on," Kaname said to the Sakamaki's and Mukami's. "We're not going anywhere until we know what's going on." Ruki snapped back. Kaname looked back at him and glared. The windows cracked showing Kaname's anger.

"Let's just go....we can check on her later," Azusa suggested and everyone else left.

*Your POV*

I felt nothing for a peaceful amount of time until pain shot through my body. I could feel every movement of the pain from my spine up to my head and back. I felt like crying but I couldn't, no matter how hard I tried, the tears wouldn't flow down my face.

A bursting beam of light exploded in my face as I stood in a room. It had no windows and there was an older lady leaning over a small bed. She was humming a tune that sounded oddly familiar to me.

"My little angel, y/n. You will grow up to be a beautiful girl full of laughter and youth." The woman said to the child that she was now holding in her hands. Wait, y/n? Is that me that she's holding. I couldn't fight it back anymore. Tears stung my eyes in my attempt to run up to her but I was interrupted by a loud crash.

"Who are you and what do you want?" She yelled holding onto me as if she were trying to hide me. "Don't be like that Juri, I only came here to get what I want." The man from before, Karlheinz, took a menacing stare at me and lunged forward. From that, Karlheinz now stood on the window seal holding me.

"Please don't do this to me, what did I do to you?" She begged and cried. He only laughed and jumped out of the window.
