Chapter 8

*Kaname's Pov*

I talked to the headmaster about the new student, Maria Kurenai. "He has a rare condition, that's why she got here so late," Cross explained. "She seems a bit, off don't you think," I said to him.

"No, she's just a bit uncontrollable sometimes, from what I have been told" cross answered.

I left the headmasters office and returned to the classroom. When I got there, Maria wasn't there, neither was Takuma or Senri."Where is Maria?" I asked everyone. Hanabusa stood up, "she ran out and Takuma went after her, Lord Kaname."

So I though, I knew this would happen. I walked out and looked for her as well. I had a feeling that if I didn't, something bad would happen.

*Your POV*

I stumbled back a bit when Senri came up out of nowhere. "Why is your hand bleeding?" He asked me. I quickly looked down at my had, the blood had seeped through the bow and was dripping. I looked back at Senri and his eyes were glowing, much like mine when I looked in the mirror before.

I knew I was in trouble when I looked at his eyes. "This, oh I just cut my hand on a rock." I laughed awkwardly. Then I realise, Senri isn't there anymore. When I walked away, I bumped into something. It was Senri when I heard about vampires being fast, I never knew they were that fast.

He pinned me up against a tree. "You smell so...tempting." He whispered in my ear. Shivers went down my spine as I felt his breath reach my neck. I tried throwing him off but it didn't work.

"Senri, stop," I begged him and kept attempting to get him off. I could feel his fangs drag against my skin before they dug deep into my neck.

I yelped in pain when he did that and continued to shake him off. I could feel my body become heavier through every moment of him drinking my blood. I just stood there senseless to the point that I could hear his every gulp.

Finally, he stopped and held me up. "Did I take too much?" I heard him ask himself before a rush of air was brought to me. My eyes slowly opened as I saw myself lying on my balcony morning growing closer.

I couldn't move and my eyes couldn't keep themselves open anymore. I was welcomed into the darkness I called unconsciousness and all I could see was those glowing eyes.

*timeskip*

I woke up, still on the balcony. I got up and walked into the bathroom. I decided to take a bath and get ready for class. I can't really remember anything from last night other than Maria Kurenai. It was odd because it felt as if I was doing something last night.

Once I got dressed, I brushed my long hair. I felt weird today but I can't put my finger on it. I walked down the hallway to meet up with the other night class students. "Morning y/n!" I heard Kanato cheer. "Morning kanato," I responded. 

"How are you feeling tonight?" Ruki said from behind me. "I'm fine now that I got some rest." I said to them both. Soon, everyone was asking me questions about different stuff. I paused when I heard that familiar laugh.

"Well, well aren't you just popular today y/n," Maria said as she pulled me out of the crowd. "Hey, Maria," I said after she stopped me. "You ready for class?" She asked me. "I guess so, I don't pay attention in class anyway." she laughed at that.

Kaname walked down the stairs and we all walked out of the moon dormitory. I was walking through the gates when someone came up behind me. I turned around and saw Kaname. "Hey, Kaname," I said to him. He gave me a concerned look and I returned it with a look of confusion. "What's wrong?" I asked him.

He moved my hair away from my neck. "How did you get this?" I had no idea hat he was pointing at. "What is it?" I questioned him. He put my hair back over my shoulder, covering what he saw.

Through the crowd of screaming girls and occasional shouts from boys, we made it to class. I sat down and Maria decided to sit next to me. Senri walked past and when he did, I felt a spring of fear flow through me. We made eye contact and he immediately looked away and continued walking. 

"So y/n, who bit you?" Maria asked me. I turned around to see her. "what do you mean?" I asked her since I've been here I haven't been bitten at all. She poked at my neck at what felt like a scratch. "it's fairly new, only like a few hours old." she said.

"I'm confused, I didn't get bitten at all," I explained to her. She only shrugged it off and watched as Yagari entered and started the lesson.

what does she mean I was bitten? what was Kaname looking at? was all I could think about before Kaname stood up.

"So, who did it? Who bit y/n last night?" Kaname asked the whole class as everyone froze, including me. "Who would dare to drink the blood from a Kuran," Hanabusa muttered.

I could feel everyone's glares towards me as I felt Maria pull my hair up, revealing the unknown mark. the whole class gasped and muttered within themselves. "So someone really bit her?" Subaru said as he stomped up to me.
