your pov
it's been a 3 years since you gave birth to your beautiful son, park eunwoo.
after your divorce with jimin, you moved away, starting a new life with your son.
it was your son's 3rd birthday and you decided to take him to this new massive play centre they had recently opened. it was built in your old home town, so you knew where it was.
it was an hours drive and the whole way eunwoo was playing with his new toys.
once you both arrived, you took eunwoo inside. his doe eyes lit up when he saw the ball pit and foam blocks - it was heaven for children.
you played in the ball pit with him, and to be honest, it was actually pretty fun.
you got out of the pit and went to take a break, since you didn't have as much energy as your 3 year old son.
you let your son play on his own for a while, the security in the place was good, so you could let him roam free without worrying.
after an hour or so, you decided it was time to leave, you got up to go and look for him.
"eunwoo! where are you?" you shouted, walking around the massive building.
after walking a while, you heard the ever so familiar voice of your son.
you walked towards the voice, wondering who he was talking to, you see him in the distance and shout for him.
"euwnoo!" he turns around from the person he was speaking to and smiles. he motions you to come towards him. "eomma! come here!" he shouts.
you jog over to him, "eomma, i made a new friend!" he points to the man he was talking to.
you look up and your stomach did back flips.
"j-jimin, long time no see" you stutter, while smiling. you tried so hard not to make it awkward.
"y/n." he says. "where have you been?!"
"erm, i moved out of town" you nervously laugh. "why are you here?"
"i work here" he quietly says, his eyes trail down to eunwoo.
"what's his name?" he says kneeling down to ruffle his hair.
"park eunwoo" you say, jimin's eyes lit up, realising that you used his last name.
"eomma? how do you know him?" eunwoo chirped.
"e-erm, he's your appa eunwoo" you confess.
"wow! i never had an appa before!" he jumps into jimin's arms, jimin hugs him lovingly.
now that you think of it, jimin would be a great father.
"y/n, i still haven't moved on you know?" he says, still stroking eunwoo's hair.
his confession took you by surprise, but now that you think of it, it was unhealthy how you kept thinking about him when you had split up.
"honestly, me neither jimin." you confessed.
his head shot up when he heard your reply, "r-really?"
"yeah, i couldn't stop thinking about you jimin, i don't know why" you blushed. he looked at you intently and hugged you while holding eunwoo.
you hugged him back, this was the first time where you felt like your family was complete, jimin was the missing piece.
"eomma! appa! you're squishing me!" you hear a muffled voice in between you.
you and jimin look at each other and laugh.
"sorry eunwoo!" you say, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
after that, you and jimin resolved all your problems and helped each other to give eunwoo the upbringing he deserves.

Short Storyhere is some depressing angst. some people like to read it... including myself, but I've pretty much read every bts angst on the internet, so I've decided to take inspiration from other stories and try and recreate my own angst.
