jimin, toy (ii)

you wake up with your eyes all crusty from the tears last night, all the things that happened yesterday hit you like a ton of bricks.

you body slammed back down onto the pillow - you were both emotionally and physically drained to do anything. you thanked god it was a weekend because you didn't want to see that face of his.

you couldn't eat, sleep or even go places without thinking about him and it made you go crazy. you lost a lot of weight in those two days and you looked sickly pale.

the only time you would get up was to brush your teeth and wash up, but even then you would feel too weak to do that.

it amazed you how one person could affect you so much. 

your parents had gone on a business trip which left you to a desolate house.

you had no friends, you removed them from your life after they became jealous of your relationship with jimin.

you decided to call in sick for the week and it was the last week of school anyway so you had a lot of time off, plus you weren't ready to see jimin give his love to his ex.

it angered you how he hasn't made the attempt to give you a proper breakup face to face. it made you wonder whether he respected you at all.

you spent the entire week in loneliness and sadness, reflecting on yourself. you wanted to change from this, it made you feel worthless.

then you thought of the satisfaction his ex would have if you spent your days like this, you then decided it was time to do something in your life.

you slowly got up and washed up, you looked in the mirror and saw a different person, your hair had gone thinner, your face was pale, and you were skinnier than before. 

you put on some clothes and decided to go shopping for yourself.

you wore a hoodie to hide your face and headed out, as you were walking you went past an arcade and you start to recall the fun times you had with jimin.

flashback

"no fair! you cheated" you said while punching jimin in the arm.

"no y/n, you're just shit at the game" he said while grinning at me.

"ugh you dont have to say it like that" you huffed and pretended you were mad.

"sorrryyyy, i cheated and i'm no match for your amazing skills"  jimin said while pecking your cheek and back hugging you.

end of flashback

you sadly smile while thinking of the memory, you then bump into someone.

"sorry" you whisper, not bothering looking up who you accidentally walked into.

"it's fine" 

you stop in your tracks, you could recognise that voice from anywhere.

you look up and see him smiling down at you, his eyes almost disappearing.

you realised how much happier he looked, but it was strange, a certain type of glow from his face had disappeared, as if he was putting on an act.

as he begins to look at your face more, his smile turns into a frown. what you didn't expect was him to bring you into a massive hug.

you push away, fearing you'll catch feelings again and also the fact that he was supposed to be with new girlfriend.

"you shouldn't be doing this, you already have someone" you say, looking at the ground.

"we broke up" he blankly says.

"oh sorry...." you barely whisper.

"she cheated on me 3 days in" 

to be honest, you didn't feel bad. he brought it on himself. he shouldn't have used you the way he did. it was karma at its finest.

"y/n i miss you" he says, breaking the silence.

"no jimin, not after what you did." you sternly say. you weren't going to be his toy anymore. all the lies he said weren't going to fool you this time.

"i'm sorry y/n, i don't know what to say to win you back" he pleads.

"you can't jimin, you can't win me back, i've moved on. i deserve someone who actually wants me, not uses me as his rebound"  you say back.

you hadn't really moved on, but everything else you said was true. you had to respect yourself and think about what was good for you, and that was finding someone new. 

he looked shocked, he wasn't expecting that to come out of your mouth. he always knew you as the shy type.

"b-but y/n.." he stutters, you cut him off.

"no buts jimin, i'm over you and all your lies." you say, you felt good after saying all that. 

you looked at his shocked face once more and walked off, he didn't even stop you.

it's like he knew that you were serious - there was no going back.
