***FRANKIE'S POV***
"If I die in this outfit I will make sure I save you a warm spot in hell," Heather Duke said to McNamara, holding on to me in the back seat of Heather McNamara's car.
"I am not that bad of a driver," McNamara defended herself.
"You were going sixty on a thirty!" Veronica laughed, sitting on the other side of me.
"The faster we get there the longer we have to bowl," Alex defended her sister, and I laughed.
"If we live that long," I chuckled, and Alex stuck her tongue out at me. "I should've ridden with my sister."
"Oh yeah, Heather 'I like to reapply lipstick while I'm driving' Chandler sounds like a much better option," Alex mumbled, and I laughed harder.
"Touché," I replied, and we pulled into the bowling alley parking lot.
"How the hell did you not get pulled over?" my sister asked, getting out of her little red car.
"I'm good," Heather McNamara replied, blowing on her car keys like the end of a shotgun.
"I'm dizzy," Heather Duke laughed as we all got out of the car.
"What're we doing for teams?" Veronica asked as we entered the place. "Same as usual?"
"I want to be on Heathers team this time," Alex chimed.
"Which one?" Heather Duke asked, and we all laughed.
"My sister," Alex replied, "the McNamara one."
"I won't take it personally," Veronica chuckled, and Alex ran and hugged her.
"Please don't," she said, clinging onto her waist.
"Alex McNamara, calm your tits," Veronica laughed. "But Duke and I are gonna kick your asses."
"Don't make it that kind of game, Sawyer," I warned. "You know how competitive their entire family is."
All the girls laughed, and we got our shoes and began to play. The two McNamara's were ahead instantly, but Heather and I caught up after their attitude cost them a few points. Alex got so overconfident she full on threw a bowling ball into the gutter.
In the end, though, Alex and her sister came out on top. It wasn't much of a surprise to anybody, and the rest of us took our defeat.
After bowling, the girls and I decided on pizza. While in the car, on the way home, I turned on station 92.6, to see if J.D was broadcasting.
"I have never seen so much blood come out of a nose!" his voice rang, laughing slightly. "I mean, I have seen a number of injuries in my life, but that kid's nose bled like his life depended on it. On a different note, I wanted to talk tonight about a letter I got this morning. It's anonymous, of course, but, uh, I felt it was important."
He took a deep breath and you could heard papers crinkling in the background.
"Why do men feel it's our responsibility to ensure that they are sexually satisfied? Getting it in is all anyone cares about, no wonder the majority of the football team is single. The whole school knows what Jake and Ethan are. We know what Jake and Ethan do-"
I turned off the radio and the car was silent. It remained that way for the entire drive to my house. I was the first to be dropped off, and as soon as I walked in the door I went straight to my room. Heather tried to ask me something, but I ignored her. I locked my door, sat on my bed, and pulled my knees up to my chest. A few tears found their way down my cheeks, but I wasn't really crying. I had some enough of that.
