***HEATHER CHANDLER'S POV***

Frankie and I decided to include Alex in on our mission to distract the secretary in the main office and get the address Frankie wanted. Thanks to their theatre background and Frankie's reputation to cause a fuss, it wasn't too hard to come up with something.
"Okay, before we go in there I need to know who's address you want," I said to Frankie.
"Jason Dean," she answered, clearing her throat.
"Jason Dean?" I asked, slightly annoyed.
"Just do it," she begged, and I nodded.
"Frankie's got a crush," Alex cooed, and Frankie slapped her shoulder.
"I do not," she laughed. "But I do have a hunch. You ready? We have to stay in character."
Alex nodded, and her and Frankie barged into the office.
"Valjean! At last, we see each other plain," Alex began to sing to Frankie, and the secretary looked at the two of them, awfully confused.
"Before you say another word Javert," Frankie sang, taking steps towards Alex. "Before you chain me up like a slave again. Listen to me, there is something I must do."
As the secretary watched, trying to piece things together, I snuck into the office and flipped through files. I knew the one I was looking for, but I had to be quiet until Frankie started belting. I knew the song, I knew what to listen for. And there it came: Alex wrestled Frankie into a strong hold, and she got louder.
"I am warning you Javert," she sang. "I'm a stronger man by far. There is power in me yet, my race has not yet run!"
And then, Frankie got loud. When I say loud I don't mean stage loud, I mean Mr. Carnegie could probably hear her in his office.
"I am warning you Javert," she belted, fighting out of Alex's grip. "There is nothing I won't do. If I have to kill you here I'll do was must be done!"
She always strayed from the original performance and belted those last lines. While her and Alex fought, Carnegie burst out of his office.
"What's going on in here?!" he yelled.
"And this I swear to you tonight," Frankie sang, this time to Carnegie. "Your child will live within my care, and I will raise her to the light."
Carnegie looked baffled, as Alex joined her.
"I swear to you," they sang to him together. "I will be; there."
At the end of the line, the two of them bolted out of the room and I slipped out from behind the desk.
"Why can't she be more like you?" Carnegie sighed to me.
"Because she's not a Heather," I replied, tucking the papers behind my back. "She's a Frances."

AUTHOR'S NOTE:
When I talk about Frankie belting, this is what I mean. If you aren't familiar with the song, it's linked in the chapter!
