this book is about domestic abuse because I'm studying it and I know that there are not many people who get to learn about stuff like this and I think that's awful and there are 25% of teenage girls in a relationship are abused...
Caitlin...
That next day caitlin wasn't at school Jay was but only for the morning.
"Hey allen!" Eddie greated slapping him on the back.
"Hey eddie"
"So what happened with you and Jay and his girlfriend last night I picked the short straw so it's me who has to ask"
"Jay had been spiking her drink he's not a good guy...he's not good to her man...the things he makes her do he treats her like he owns her"
"Really Jay?" Eddie asked in disbelief.
"Yeah he's been messing with her head some how and not in a good way...please don't tell anyone I told you this untill I've sorted it because I am sorting it"
Eddie nodded "sure Barry see you at practice"
Barry sighed it was going to be a long day.
He decided he would give caitlin her space and not go see her after school because she was probly hung over or something.
When caitlin did return to school on the Wednesday barry tried to ignor her but he just knew something was off with her.
He would watch her at lunch she would sit with Jay and not her friends and she didn't eat or drink anything she always seemed stiffen under jays touch and would freez whenever he kissed her she didn't really speak up in classes anymore or smile or talk to anyone for that matter, it was like she was just a shell of who she used to be...a Ghost.
God how he wanted to just talk to her but he couldn't...
She didn't even look at him.
Jay was always waiting for her after class so he couldn't even talk to her then and he always got to her first after practice Jay was every where and he couldn't talk to her in class either because she would always sit the furthest away from him.
Much to barrys suprise his mother had informed him that caitlin was babysitting Mia in a couple of hours it was Friday but barry thought Jay had forbidden her from seeing him.
Barry knew the moment caitlin had arrived not because he herd her voice from downstairs but because he herd Mia squeling.
Barry started assending the stairs but stoped half way down and just stared and for the first time he really saw caitlin that was the first time he ever noitced she was beautiful sure hed called her beautuful vefore bit now he noiticee he was...atrracked to her?!even though she was just wearing simple clothes and probly no makeup.

"I haven't seen you in forever!" Mia exclaimed.
"I missed you to" caitlin smiled.
Barry felt his heart warm he hadn't seen her smile in weeks!
He quickly snapped out of his daze and walked down the stairs until he was close enough to caitlin for her to see him.
"Ok we'll be back by 10!" Henry called as the older Allens made their way out.
Mia was still in Caitlin's arms hugging her tightly caitlin's features looked tight like she was in pain
Barry caught caitlin's eye and she got the message and put Mia down "why don't you go get into your pajarmas I need to talk to yout brother"
Mia beamed at barry before making her way up the stairs.
"We need to talk" barry sighed and sat down
"I know" caitlin agreed and took a seat next to him but not as close as he would've liked they sat in an awkward silence for a while
"Your still with Jay even after what he's done" barry stated breaking the silance.
"He apolagised and said it would never happen again he said he only did it because he wanted be to have fun and be happy"
Barry huffed "and you belive him?!"
"He ment it" she snapped
"Sure he did...he did it because he loved you like the time he told you you couldn't see your friends anymore or babysit Mia or when he forced himself on you! If he wanted you to be happy he wouldn't of done those things because hanging out with your friends makes you happy being with Mia makes you happy!"
"Jay knows what's best for me!" Caitlin yelled.
"Who is Jay your dad!"
Barry instesntly regreted those words the moment he saw her freez and saw hurt flash across her features.
"Cait I-"
"Just leave barry" caitlin whispered brokenly.
"But I...I'm sorry I wasn't thinking I just..."
"Leave!" Caitlin hissed
"Don't say I didn't try" barry said then stormed out of the house slamming the door behind him.
Caitlin buried her face in her hands it was gonna be a long night...
