Question 7 Is it ok for your partner to lie to you if he thinks it's what best for you even if you disagree???

(E.g if he found out your friend/ family is dying after reading your mail?)

Caitlin sat on the opposite end of the table from barry who had Mia perched on his lap while she played on her brothers phone they had finished thier breakfasts ages ago.

Caitlin however was still piking at her pancake she hadn't eaten much as and mia had pointed that out lound enough for barry to hear when she had gone to bin her left overs.

"Bare your phones dead" Mia whined.
 
"I'll go put it on charge you can play on it later"

Mia pouted "But I'm borrrrredddd and I have nothing to do" she said dramatically

"You can play on mine it's on the coffee table" caitlin offered.

Mia smiled "Thankyou caity! Love you" and with that she had ran out of the room.

Caitlin's lips curled into a small smile.

"If you don't want to eat it you don't have to"

Caitlin looked up at him greatfully "Thankyou"

Caitlin pushed her chair away from the table and it squeaked on the floor she scrapped her food in the bin and proceeded to wash it.

"I can do it, you're my guest"

"Barry I'm the babysitter who stayed the night not your guest"

"Can't you be both?" He teased

"Barry I can wash a plate by myself I've been living on my own for almost 5 months"

"5 months huh?" Nora asked from the door way.

Caitlin just nodded and placed her plate on the daraning bored "I keep myself busy" she shrugged

"You must get lonely where's your mother?"

"She owns a company in coast city so she stays in a town house there she transfers money for food and clothes and stuff every two weeks" caitlin exsplained.

Nora nodded "any company we might of herd of?"

"Unidac industries?"

Henry choked on his coffee "wow your mother is sorta of famous but I didn't know she had a daughter"

"Not many people do I think that's why she hides me in central city"

There was a long silance henry and Nora were sharing a look.

"So barry told us what happened is it ok if I take a look at your bruises?" Henry questioned.

"Ummm... you really don't have to I mean..."

Barry placed his hand lightly on caitlin's back just so she was awear of him and she relaxed and let out a quite sigh.

"Its no trouble caitlin really" the doctor assured her.

"...ok"

"Great follow me to my office"

Caitlin froze suddenly feeling insecure.

"I can come if you want me to" Barry said rubbing soothing circles on her skin.

Caitlin replied with a nod and they followed henry to his office.

When they got there henry made caitlin sit on the desk while he checked every thing and asked her questions.

"Are you taking any thing?"

"Yes"

Caitlin exsplained to him what she was taking and anwsered his other questions untill he asked "what did he do to cause this damge?"

Caitlin immediately tensed.

"Cait, you don't have to say if your not comfortable..." barry whispered.

Caitlin nodded and tears burned her eyes but she didn't let them escape.

"...he tripped me and once I was down he began kicking me" caitlin mumbled.

She felt barry tense behind her.

"When did this happen?" Henry questioned pressing around the bruised skin when he got to a painful bit she reached out and grabbed Barry's hand and squeezed it tightly.

"I'm sorry but I need to find out what's wrong" Henry apologised.

"Its fine...umm he did this about 3 days ago"

"Ok" Henry said then pressed her ribs again and she let out a pained hiss.

After a few minuets of caitlin squeezing barrys hand untill she was sure it was numb Henry let out a frustrated sigh.

"I think you've at least cracked a rib your going to need an X-ray so we can be sure"

"I don't think I can do that they'll ask to many questions that-that I don't think I can anwser" she panicked.

"Its ok I have a friend called Jo he's a police officer you have options we can invite him around here or we can take you down to the station"

Caitlin bit her lip and stared at her lap.

"Hey" barry said softly and placed a hand on her shoulder caitlin looked up at him with watery eyes "He's not going to hurt you again"

Caitlin nodded and barry could tell she was trying to hide her tears so he wrapped his arms around her.

"I'll leave you two alone" Henry muttered before leaving the room.

Caitlin parted her legs slightly and barry came to stand between them and she buried her face in his stomach and let the sobs takeover barry just stroked her hair and whispered her words of comfort.

"I'm scared barry" she whispered.

Barry cupped her jaw and tilted her head so she would look up at him"I know but it's going to get better I swear to you...ok? I won't let anything happen to you"

Caitlin mumbled something that he didn't understand.

They stayed like that for a while they didn't know how much time had passed but soon there was a soft knocking on the door and the young pair broke apart caitlin whiped her eyes and cheeks.

"Come in!" Barry called

Nora entered with a warm smile and some clothes "I found your clothes so I washed them for you... and henry asked me to talk to you he wanted to know if you wanted us to call Jo or-"

"Mum not now" barry groaned cutting her off.

"Its fine... call jo" caitlin whispered

"Really?!" Barry said in a hopefull tone.

Caitlin nodded "you won't let him anything happen to me right?" She said coping his words.

Barry beamed at her "I promise" he said dropping a kiss on top of her head.

"Awww" Nora said from the door way.

Caitlin and barry blushed but she hid her face in barrys stomach again.
