{February 2029}

Ever since the kids walked in on them all those years ago, Harrison and Carrie installed cameras all through the house, specifically in the kids rooms. These cameras came in handy more than once.

Carrie sat in the living room, playing Life with Emma, Billie, and Ben. Adam was upstairs with his new girlfriend Emily. Harrison was out next to her, and his head rested in her lap. Between her turns in Life, she ran her fingers through his hair, gently combing it out.

It was her turn to spin. She spun a five and moved her car five spaces. "What did you land on?"

"Your home floods. Pay $500. Lovely."

The kids laughed. "Here you go," she said, giving Emma the $500 bill.

As Ben took his turn, she went back to massaging his head. "Sleepyhead."

"You talking about me sweetheart?"

"I sure am Harry."

He stretched out, his hands passing by her face. As he went to finish his stretch, he stopped his left hand and pushed some loose hair behind her ears before caressing her cheek.

"Mom! It's your turn!"

His hand dropped as she took another spin. "You get married." Looking down at Harrison she smiled. "Wonder to who?"

He smiled, waiting for her to say his name. "Maybe to a professional baseball player. Or hockey player. Even better, an actor," she teased.

"Or maybe to this guy named Harrison who happens to be the love of my life."

"He sounds like a lucky guy."

"He really is."

Harrison brought his hands up and put them behind his head. "I'm really lucky."

He wasn't so happy when she made him move off her so she could go grab another beer. "I'll be right back," she told the kids.

Carrie made her way into the kitchen, grabbing a Bud Light from the fridge. Then out of curiosity, she checked the camera in Adam's room. She spit out the beer when she saw what was going on.

Harrison heard the thundering of her footsteps as she ran out of the kitchen. He quickly sat up to see her flying up the stairs, taking the steps by three. When she disappeared from his view, he heard a door open, and her yell, "ADAM DOUGLAS WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?"

After hearing her yell, he was on his feet, running up the stairs just as she had seconds earlier. Harrison momentarily lost his breath at the scene in front of him.

"ADAM DOUGLAS!"

"Mom! What are you doing!?"

"Would you like to explain to your father and I what you're exactly doing!?"

By now he had pulled the covers around himself and Emily. "Mom we're not doing anything!"

Carrie folded her arms across her chest after pointing to the clothes laying all across his room. "You, get dressed and get out," she ordered Emily.

While she was continuing to scold him, Harrison gathered their clothes off the floor. He threw Emily's at her rather aggressively. Then he and Carrie stepped outside while the two had an opportunity to get dressed.

After a minute, Carrie stormed back in with Harrison on her heels. She grabbed Emily's keys off Adam's dresser and handed them to her. "I'm sorry Mrs. Ford," she admitted rather weakly.

Carrie nodded. "It's not your fault. But I think it's a good time for you to leave."

Emily slipped out the doorway. "Adam!" She snarled. "Did you not listen to anything I said last week?"

Adam didn't answer. Last weekend, he went to prom with Emily. With it being his first prom, and the fact there were going to be other teens that he didn't normally talk to there as bad influences, she gave him the 'don't do anything stupid talk.' Apparently the 'make good life choices' speech went right through his ear and out the other. Because he and Emily were certainly doing a major no no on the list.

"Adam, I don't even know what to say right now."

He kept his mouth shut. Next to Carrie, Harrison spoke up. "Your mother and I are both very disappointed with you right now. That was not a good choice to make. And this choice could end up with her being pregnant. Right now at your age, you don't need a kid to worry about. You have high school, your athletics, and college to think about right now. This can wait."

"But you and mom were only a year older than me when you had your first time!" Adam protested.

"Adam, that's not the point," Carrie snapped.

"Then what is mom?"

She let out a long sigh. "The point is that you don't need to be doing this right now. You have the rest of your life for it. And about your dad and I, this very same thing almost changed our lives big time. Luckily, I wasn't pregnant. But I don't know what I would've done having to raise a kid at 18. And I'm sure your dad will agree with me. Right Harrison?"

"Your mom is right. And our little endeavor was not a very good decision. Adam, we're trying to look out for you. We're trying to help you make the best decisions that will help you. But this? Adam just don't do it."

He was silent for a few moments after that. "I'm sorry. I won't do it again."

Carrie held out her hand. "Give me your phone."

"Mom? What are you doing?"

She answered flatly. "You're grounded."

"WHAT!? Mom I apologized! I shouldn't of done that with Emily!"

"Phone."

"Dad?"

"Give her the phone."

Very reluctantly, Adam handed over his phone. "You're grounded."

"Why am I grounded?!"

"I know we just went over it, but you need to realize you can't do this because it'll get you in trouble. Now give me your keys."

Adam leaned back on his bed. "They're on my dresser."

Carrie took his car keys off his dresser. She now had his phone and car keys. "Anything else?" She asked her husband.

"No seeing Emily outside of school for two weeks."

"Two weeks!?"

Harrison nodded. "I'm serious Adam. You need to make better choices." And with that, he followed Carrie out of the bedroom.
