<Chapter 8>Wrong or what?

I stared at the rain and it was beautiful. I love the rain. People tell me that rain and thunder and such are scary, but for me, It's how I even grew to love the it when I forgot my umbrella when I as little. I heard loud chewing and looked at this 'Shin'. Does he love nuts that much? I look at my own plate that also had the same order as his and sighed as I drank my coffee. I returned my eyes onto the window as I heard his stomach grumble. I turned towards him and pushed my plate towards him.

"You can have it if you-." I couldn't even finish my sentence as he took it and ate it all up. I stood up and finished my coffee before throwing its' container into the trashcan near me. I opened the door and got out. I decided to go to the playground since nobody would be there at this time. As I start to head there, I felt that somebody was following me. I shrugged it off and continued to walk until I finally reached my destination. I felt like a child as I ran towards the bigger swings. I sat on it and stepped on the puddles in front of me. There were two streetlights that lightened up the place. I used to come here for when me and my brother got home after school.

"It's quite a long time since I've been here." I said as I smiled. I stood up and opened my palm, letting some raindrops fall onto my hand. I looked at the monkey bar and jumped up high, so that I would sit above it. It's quite tall to be used by kids.

----Flashback ---Shida-6 yrs old---Rin-7 years old

"Nii-san! Don't leave me!" My 6 year old voice said as I called out to my brother who somehow got himself up the tree branch. He laughed at me and said, "Oh come on! You can do it sis!" He shouted from up as I stood up carefully at the bars. I walked slowly as I reached out to him. He grabbed my hand and helped me to get on the same branch as he was on.

"Wow! look at the sunset Nii-san!" I said as I tugged on my brothers arm. He groaned as he also stood up. "Yeah, I guess so." What felt like a splatter of water became a heavy full of rain. We were actually playing hide and seek with Karl-nii and saw that he hasn't come back yet. We both wait until Karl-nii finally sees us. He gets me off the tree branch while Nii-san just teleports. We both got scolded and grounded.

I shivered when Karl-nii banned us from watching T.v. We haven't used any technology beside from the usual ones, so WIFI was not yet our big problem. I laughed as I remembered those memories. I jumped off the bars and the rain still didn't stop. I thought of an Idea and went for it. I ran and danced in the rain. I feel so alive. So happy. So free.

Unknown to Shida, she didn't see anyone that watched her from afar. It was Shin. He got curious as of why the girl suddenly left after he finished her cake, so he followed her and saw the scenery of her now dancing right in front of him. Well, not really in front since Shin was spying.
"Shit." Shin raised an eyebrow as he saw the girl looking at her watch. Shida ran, and before Shin knew it, the girl dancing in front of him was now running away.

"She must've seen me." Shin tells himself as he covered himself with a black cloak. He sighed and teleported back to the mansion to see Carla with an...annoyed face.
"Nii-san? You okay?" Shin asks as Carla just glares at him..."Damn paperwork.." Shin hears Carlas mutter as they both cross paths. Shin shrugged. It's this normal. Carla frustrating over paper works since he is the 'King'. Considering that he and his brother are the only ones left to manage subjects. Shin is, well, busy over trying to find the brothers and Yui. Somewhere, he can smell it, he knows where the brothers are. Just waiting for the right time to attack. and get the 'Eve'.

Shida got back into her office, from the window and got changed. Good thing was, she had a secret bathroom in her office to have the time to take a bath. As Shida went to take her clothes, she saw a letter. 'Probably from Carla.' Shida thought as she took it.
"So he'll be back tomorrow...Okay.." Shida said as she went and relaxed into the warm bath she prepared for herself. Shida actually had Chase and the black-haired guy help her into putting up the secret rooms she installed. Pretty intelligent.
