For Simon, living in the same house as his best friend JJ means a lot of cuddles and hugs. For Vik, Simon's boyfriend, this leads to more than a little bit of jealousy.
Vik has almost given up asking Simon to just chill a bit with the friendly snuggles. It's not that he doesn't trust Simon or JJ, but there's something a little bit disorienting about constantly walking into a room to see his boyfriend in the arms of another man.
Simon's response to Vik's pleas is always "we're just good friends I promise" and "it's ok Vik, it's not that big a deal."
He just doesn't seem to get it.
Until Lachlan comes over for the holidays.
Simon tries to ignore it at first, the constant hugs and hand holding and Hair ruffling.
After three days, Simon can't take it anymore. He bursts into Vik's room, mumbling breathless apologies through giggles, and burying his face in Vik's shoulder, murmuring about how he couldn't stand it, and how Vik is his and only his.
Vik laughs and wraps his arms around Simon.
"Now you know how it feels"
