Simon was accidentally placed in an AP European History class because of some fault with the computer system. On the first day, the teacher asks if there's anyone who feels like this isn't the right class for them. Simon raises his hand because he's a popular football player at the school and he doesn't feel like putting effort into homework and studying. Then, as Simon's hand extends, the classroom door opens and the most beautiful boy in the entire world walks into class.
Simon's hand goes down, as if of it's own accord. The boy hands the teacher a late pass and sits down next to Simon.
"I'm Vik," he says, and Simon internally vows that he will do whatever studying he needs in order to stay in this class, sitting next to Vik.
