Elaine's POV

In the next moment I was too shocked when I found him crash his lips against mine leaving me no time to escape it... My eyes grew as bigger as saucers...

How the?

I never did really expect this would be coming. A sudden swarm of butterflies erupted in the pit of my stomach. I was befuddled for a moment as I couldn't function my brain what to be done... But the red signal on my brain suddenly clicked me to compose myself before I would let the things go out of my control. The time I wanted to push him back, he snaked his two strong arms around my waist enfolding me into his body. His lips felt too soft and delicate against mine. But I was standing like a dummy controlling all the spirals of escatsy which were about to arise breaking all the boundaries that I had kept pasted with the glue called hatred on behalf of that sh*tty feeling which people are blind to call love. I jerked my body as I wanted to free myself..

"Hush.... Don't move...." he kept me in place. "You know what? My mum is very smart and she has sent one of her gaurds to have his damn eyes on me... So be a good girl and kiss me....." whispered he against my now swollen lips almost like a muttering and slightly towering his forehead on mine having me tightly held in his arms... I could not help the quiver in me as I was too mesmerized by the hot minty breath of his...

Is my life a show case thing for him...?

"No--- I--I can't do it...." refused I with much discomfort...

"No?" He gave a look of plea and that's when I lost my senses as his eyes were too intensive to say a 'No' again. To say I was hallucinated was an understatement. I couldn't help myself, but close my eyes fighting the nervousness as I was literally descending the inches left between our lips. I felt the hot minty breath of him fan over my already flushed up face as my quivering lips almost brushed his wet lips slightly with a quiver running through my body.
"Good.... He's gone..." before I could completely kiss him, he detached himself away from me leaving me stunned as well as embarrassed at myself. His eyes literally dropped to mine to see the blush has done a freaking hell on my cheeks.

Oh sh*t sherlock! Why did I almost kiss him?

I was not supposed to do so!

I came here to revoke this marriage and here I did almost kiss the same man instead of pushing him away.

The sooner his eyes ran over my face, his dreamy lips turned up to a slight smile making a fast beat skip my heart.

Oh god This man is bloody confusing me.

His phone suddenly went off giving me a relief.

Thanks to my fate! Only for this time I am thanking my fate...

As he fished it out of his pant pocket, he attended the call mouthing me an 'Excuse me..' and  shifted himself far away from me and I huffed my breath out which I hadn't even known that I was holding it up in my system.

Then in two minutes he came back to me.

"Well! I thought of having my lunch with you. But it's time to leave now. I just have to attend an urgent meeting..." said he giving a glance at his expensive gold watch that was stuck on his sculpted wrist...
