I've been here in the Philippines for about 1week or almost. I dont really remember and I dont mind. Maybe because I really enjoyed being here, being with people I expected to take advantage on me. But that expectation is a blunder. I was so stupid thinkin' that kind of stuff knowing they working so hard just to live. Some revelations about how they live, government corruptions and even daily gossip by their neighbors shocks me.

They we're not poor if it weren't for helping needy people. They used to help others who have a problem with money or appliances. Name it and they will give it to you right away.

Father or Tatay in Tagalog still working to sustain their needs through buying food they wanted to eat. At his age, I know pitying is not the best word to describe his situation because everytime he entered the house from work. There's this lively smile saying Im home and Im happy working because he have them.

Mother or Nanay in Tagalog stays at home. She's doing the chores like washing clothes etc. etc. Aside from Tatay. She's kind, too. She always ready to lend a helping hand. She take good care of her children especially Joey. She has this strong personality that everyone will get scared of but definitely she's caring and gentle and lovable.

Joey, the girl i used to chat through i-mesh is working hard to earn money for her family. I didn't hear anything from her like she's tired or foul words. Instead she gave all wholeheartedly. And that make me proud of her and still I dont know why. :)

Lalaine, the most talkative one. :) She speaks a lot compared to her siblings. She has this kind of ability to make everyone smile through her silly jokes. The clown of the family. I treat her like my youngest sister because honestly I dont have one. She's in charge of translating unfamiliar words to me. She's clever. She's ready to have a debate whenever she's right. And she had a crush. My brother. Though I know its kinda joke but sometimes i do feel it's true. Less worry because i gave her warning.

Nate, the third one. The snobbish of all. He never speaks a lot. We're good in terms of painting but other than that he dont always have a comment.

Joselito or most commonly called as toto. Well, he's lazy but not to the point that he's not helping. He did some chores whenever Nanay ask him to.

Now, Im here now in Nate's room as well as mine by now. Trying to figure out what was I'm going to paint. I terribly don't have any idea on mind and that happens just right now. I'm done sketching Nanay and Tatay's portrait. They didn't know about this because I took it secretly while we we're having a conversation down in their small yet cute living room.I decided that I will just give it to them before I flew back to Korea. Out of the blue, I stand up and took few steps to reach the window facing a huge name of a famous mall near here. Down there we're Tatay's small farm. :) A small amount of land lend by the mall authorities to him. So, even though Manila is polluted there's still a part of it that fresh air exist.

"Kuya? Time to eat." Lalaine showed up right behind the room's door.

I turn my head to where she is and answered. "Oh! Later. You first." 

"I'll eat now. Don't you want to join me?" She entered the room and sits on the floor.

I followed her. I even sit  next to her.

"Can we wait Joey?" I asked. She smiled widely then eventually gave me a teasing look.

"Sure. C'mon. Let's wait her downstairs." 

We'll go downstairs together. There I see Joey. I guess she just arrive a little later because she had her bag hanging on her shoulder. I still feel aloof to her. She couldn't talk much. She rarely speak. I really don't know how will i start a conversation with her or how was I supposed to start a topic. I remember the last time we talk with Lalaine. She walked out and I supposed I hurt her feelings. I was so straight-forward that I couldn't think of her as a girl who has born with sensitivity and fragility. I was so stupid. I really was.
