Connor's face was extremely flushed, because he wasn't used to physical contact, especially being carried. Evan was probably asleep now, so Connor sat up, staring at the sleeping boy. Evan was turned over, not facing Connor, but Connor could still see Evan's body moving up and down with every gentle breath. Connor wasn't sure why he was staring at Evan--The boy wasn't much to look at. Sure, he had curious blue eyes laced with anxiety, and yes, his face was adorable and every time Evan smiled Connor felt his heart skip a beat (Which, sadly, wasn't often).
It made Connor angry. The way Evan made him feel was a new type of emotion and it confused him. He didn't like confusion. It made him feel stupid...almost oblivious. But it was pretty clear to him now.
He was hopelessly in love with Evan Hansen.
Connor hadn't considered love an emotion he could have. Everyone acted like Connor was crazy, so he just assumed...that maybe, he was? Of course, it wasn't true. But to Connor it was.
Evan woke up to his alarm, and realized it was the weekend. He hadn't even realized yesterday had been Friday! Evan quickly turned off the alarm and tapped Connor, shaking him lightly. In response, Connor swatted him away.
"NoOoooo," Connor groaned sleepily. Evan laughed quietly. "Connor," Evan nudged him, "get up please." Connor huffed in annoyance, but sat up all the same. "Good morning, Evan."
"Good morning, Connor!" Connor stared at Evan for a moment.
"I probably have to go home today. Can you come with me and stay for a while?"//Hope you enjoyed my dudes\\
