(Sorry this chapter is sort of short)

I was walking for so long Yves had to take over for me. I was laid on his back and i felt the wind smack me in the face.

As soon as Yves took over we were headed to wherever he knew very quickly. His speed was similar to a vampire's. Everything passed by so quickly.

We reached a forest near by in the minutes passing.

We passed a small town.

We passed a long stretch of plain land, cluttered with flowers.

"Sleep, i know you need it." I heard Yves tell me. He was right. I gripped onto his soft fur and the sound of his paws hitting the ground lulled me to sleep.
-

I was in a state of half asleep and half awake, but i desperately wanted to be sleeping again. I fluttered my eyes open to get a glimpse of where we were at, since Yves stopped.

We were in a large forest filled with vines and flowers. A large stone statue of a woman was before us. I was puzzled.

Her body began to crack and contort. Her fingers began to wiggle along with her arms all the way down to her legs. She twitched her jaw and stretched.

I was amazed and Yves seemed to be focusing intensely on her. They must be talking. I thought.

they spoke shortly and after they seemed to be on the same page she bowed and reached an arm out In front of us. Her hand extended into the ground and formed a stone archway. The other side seemed the same as the area we were in but, Yves walked into it.

Before departing the woman tapped my shoulder and the corners of her lips lifted into a soft smile. She showed me a white flower and then laid it behind my ear.  She spoke a few foreign words before we stepped into the archway and I smiled softly and waved.

I never saw the woman after that brief encounter. "Yves what did she tell me?" I asked drowsily.

"She said "you're the savior of our realm."" I nodded, planning on asking him what she meant later. But for now, I felt sleep creeping up on me again and i rested my head back on Yves.
-

Later on Yves let me walk on my own  until I snagged my ankle on a really sharp branch.
I tugged my ankle off of it and a good sized gash laid on its back part. I hissed in pain as the cut began to drip blood on my shoes.

Yves rolled his eyes and licked at my cut, i giggled a little and when he was finished the cut was already healing over.

We finally reached our destination and
my eyes locked on the small house in front of us. It was kind of half underground like a den.

"This is our home for now."

"It's cute."
